Eisen is a dark horse candidate for my favourite character in the show. He's kind, he's cool, he's funny, he's surprisingly emotionally intelligent, and everything he says or does gets even funnier because it's coming from this deadpan, monotone, stoic little dwarf.

I was so bitter about them not doing the date. They are sticking to adapting 2 chapters per episode, thought they were really gonna include the next one. Grrrrrr haha

I mean the first season was 2.14 chapters per episode. So I just hoped this one would be the 3. What they stretch out the most are the little fights that are one panel or one page, which I really enjoy in the anime since you don’t see much of them in the manga.

I just realized that when Frieren makes that face and says something wild that her master taught her about relationships with men, she's actually imitating Flamme's cheeky smile. omg Same one she used when talking about the potion that dissolves clothes for example.

You are not shadow banned. That's a very tinfoil-hat idea. I just opened a browser window with no Google cookies and did a search on YT for "frieren reaction". This video showed up at the 23rd position, two spots after the first annoying "Shorts" bar in the scroll.

I'm 38 now and getting to be an old man. But every episode of this show gets me. I think it's because I have years of memories to look back on that it effects me more. No other show gets me the way this one does. Well that and S1E7 of Dandadan, but that's just being a parent.

Search results doesn't necessarily prove he's shadow banned or not. Shadow banned is more that a channel isn't going to be pushed to the recommended (home) page - where non-subscribers are more likely to see his videos. I just did an incognito search too for the same thing and he was under the 4th or 5th shorts section for me, but I no longer see his other videos in my recommendations like I used to. And from his side, he can see analytics of how many subscribers vs non-subscribers view the videos / channels, and if there becomes a pattern that he has far more subscribers than not viewing videos, well, that's an indicator of the shadow-banning.

As a content creator myself (though not on YT), they usually straight up tell you in the analytics if you're "shadow-banned." A better term would be like soft banned. Shadow-banned doesn't really mean what it used to among right-wing conspiracy theorists. Now it really just means when the platform stops recommending your content to viewers. For example, Facebook usually straight up says, "you're not recommendable" under the monetization section. This usually lasts for a certain number of days right after a policy violation, before you're suddenly recommendable again.

Yeah. "Shadow-banning" changed it's meaning, but I still hear both being used. In this case, his channel is recommended much less often or not at all to non-subscribers. If you watch him a lot and are not subscribed, you might get a recommendation, but it will be far down. Or you might not. Hence why subscribing is so important.
