I don't feel that at all, I hear about this amine a lot, also for what the show is, I think the recognition it gets is justified, everything is just called underrated nowadays, and it's losing it's meaning.

No I'm being dead serious bro. It's underrated. People don't realize that so many little amount of people are talking about it here and there. It should be the same level as these amazing show but sadly it got outshined by other series like JJK and Frieren. It is not high valued enough by the amount of people or even watching this new season. It got some declining audiences because of the animation quality of S1 didn't met their expectation hence why right now less people are enjoying it or not giving the recognition that it deserves.

As a manga reader, I really like what we saw of Jikka so far, really liked the character in the manga (and very good choice of VA with Gin's VA from bleach - or Naoya's in JJK). I'm wondering where this season will end though, cause the manga is quite short (13 tomes), and after season 1 and these 4 episodes, we're already half of tome 7... With the same rythm, we'll end this season around tome 10 or 11, so not enough episode to have a full 3rd season. I'm feeling very strongly Mappa's plan is to end this show with a movie - not a bad idea knowing the story, but difficult to end this season at a perfect moment - and I'm afraid we'll wait years again for the end.

Luke literally said it and that's it - it should be WAY HIGHER on the ratings, therefore it is underrated. How can Solo Leveling (And I inhaled the Manwha, it's not like I dislike it, lol) be so dman popular? Solo Leveling is so simple and blunt in comparison. Just one of many examples.
