The fact that we're only Lemonade away from Homecoming 🥹🥹

Montavio Avery

IF you do a jayz album then id be say for 4:44 for sure

Tammy Green

I think it's sad that you're viewing this concert through the eyes of the cheating scandal. They are very much in love during this tour. They went out on tour together for healing and bonding. I think you're misinterpreting Beyonce's mood. She's being fierce and confidant with her attitude, not sad and cold. It's the vibe of the show - she's in character. Love your reactions Luke! Don't be sad - it was not the intent of the tour.

T

2:35 - yes, we consider Lemonade, 4:44 and Everything is Love a trilogy. You gotta hear all three to fully heal lol

Felicia Brown

Lmao you not recognizing drunk in love immediately from the “scary music” made me kinda mad 😂😂 cmon Luke! We been on this journey too long lmao

Teriagotemhookd

Lemonade first..then listen to 4:44 if you want. Also Solange and their cousin Angie helped write Why Don’t You Love Me and Get Me Bodied.

Helena

So excited for lemonade! Make sure you do it in one sitting and not in parts as every song is a story that goes from the first all the way through to the end. When you spilt it up it breaks up the flow and the step by step process Beyoncé wants you to see.

Felicia Brown

She performs “why don’t you love me” on the Cowboy Carter tour so very similar to the way she did on this show…. But the way that voice has matured in the 12 years since this performance is……. *chefs kiss* I can’t wait for you to catch up 😫 (enjoying the journey but yea.. lol)

Felicia Brown

“Holy grail” is one of Jayz’s songs… Justin Timberlake was the original feature but for this tour Bey sang his part.

Bey Brown

You are correct, you have to hear more from him before you judge. He has 14 albums and so many collabs, so idk about the whole discography.

Rox

You should watch Fade To Black from Jay-Z. I think it is still on YT. There you can also see behind the scènes and studio footage! Alsof scènes from picking beats and instrumentale. Pharrel and Timberland worked a lot with Jay-Z.

Nicole N

I agree with this comment. Lemonade should be viewed in one sitting and going forward so should the rest of her albums(especially when you get to renaissance and cowboy Carter… I know thats a ways away but still). If you can. I know you have a system but these pieces of works (and black is king) works best not to split up.

Helena

Yes! I agree with that so much. you’re right about that I forget that all her albums after lemonade do that. albums tell a story that blends into all the songs. From the beginning all the way to the end ❤️

Sydney Barrett

I'd love it if you move here in Canada 🇨🇦

Sydney Barrett

If you don't like the rain dont move to British Columbia

jj 💜

jay and bey on stage together is my absolute favorite, she really becomes such a different level of hype 😩😩

Curwin Sphere

Holy Grail is top 5 of any Jay & Bey live performance mainly because it seems to just make Bey want to go off! You should definitely watch another live performance of it after the last album review, along with the accoustic version of Drunk in Love live that features Ed Sheeran. You'll love it! There are so many great performances from each era that you need to watch.

Timo Lentjes

I absolutely love your videos. You capture exactly what I felt when I saw it for by the first time! Love it! 🥰🐝 A tip: it would be helpful if you put Part 1, Part 2, etc. in video titles. That way, viewers can more easily tell the different videos apart. 🙏🏼

I mean he’s not wrong to view it that way. As you said yourself, they went on tour FOR healing. Yes, she’s in character, but the weight of what they were going through is very much present as well. I would say he can still have a positive outlook on the show, but it wouldn’t be wrong to view it how he is considering that’s the context for the inception of the show.

The One and Only Angela L. Dawson

You’ll see in 4:44 that Jay had a really messed up upbringing and he was a little fucked up. She asks him why don’t you think you deserve to be loved? He had to work through it with therapy to get his family back.

Ahmir B

If you want to listen to Jay, I suggest reacting to his 4:44 (2017) album after Lemonade (2016), and their joint album Everything Is Love (2018) afterwards as well. The three albums are an unofficial trilogy with each of them accounting their side of things and storytelling of how they separated but reconciled. They’ll also provide more context to the situation that you can hear straight from Bey & Jay and not just rumors or internet assumptions. 4:44 is an excellent matured Jay album, also his last/most recent. EIL is highly underrated and I need more people to react to it!! Like so he sees guys!

Karry forde

Your jaw is on the floor. 🤣🤣🤣❤️❤️❤️

Cynthia Fenderson

The song they did together after Why Don’t You Love Me was actually a song Jay Z done with Justine Timberlake. And when She performed Partition it was also used as a performance for an Award Show.

Angie

Luke, Beyonce is killing u softly. ;D

T

I was waiting for “Luke say yaaaaAAA” 🤣🤣

T

If you went on a Jay journey but decided not to do everything in chronological order I would suggest American Gangsta, Blueprint 3 and Watch the Throne (assuming you’ll hit 4:44 and EIL as part of Bey journey)

T

Gahhd I can’t wait till Homecoming. You might have to do that in one vid!! I’m sorrrrry!!

Zari

Beyoncé is on a whole different level when she’s on the stage with Jay-Z. There are some great compilation videos of her going so hard dancing that he actually looks afraid. 😂

RC

YESSS, EXACTLY THIS!

Darnell Davis

Is Lemonade after this? It's gonna break you

Ni Ni

@34:19 the song is Holy Grail by Jay-Z feat. Justin Timberlake

Mia Speakz

Yess he did 444 addressing everything and I won't pay in your face when I say, there are some songs that just made me hate him but there are songs that deems redemption but I think I'm biased. It's also addressed by both in everything is love but don't quote me

Jory H Bell

“Lemonade” next, then “4:44”, and then in the trilogy with their joint album “Everything Is Love”

lyn Laugh247

Fun fact: Les Twins was performing at home. They’re from Paris so they were extraordinarily excited. They’d been touring with Beyoncé several years at this point, but They also got to perform with Jay on stage since he was part of the tour. They’d done many competitions and exhibitions to his music but to be on stage with him had to be surreal.

Milkyway

Oh I would love a Jay z journey

Noni

"Beyonce's a one-woman assassin" Oh Bey, AKA, the catwalk assassin, strikes again!

Monica Kessel

4:44 is his album that addressed a lot of what happened, and it was seen as one of his best works. Didn’t win any of its Grammys but it was nominated for 8 of them.

Trina

I was going to comment the same. Jay has so many flows. For a Bey/Jay show, he had to pick the more popular songs. He did a whole concert of B side hits and we knew every word.

Izzy

Love how you point out Jay's instrumentals and how good they are coz if there's one thing Bey gon do is have an insane instrumental that always leave me confused how people wrote to that 😂 I love it though coz only she can do it and she eats every time

Zandile Mzingaye

I can’t wait for the Lemonade reaction!!!!

Ali

💯they crack me up. He's like "who dis woman?!"

F T

No literally tho we will wait and absolutely sit through all of that!

Amani

100% feral human being she becomes on stage with him. Especially the clips I’ve seen from OTR II tour
