If the plot hole you are thinking of is the goopy dream ability that white snake had, that isn't a plot hole. White snake has the ability to turn aspects of people into disks, if he can make direct contact he can do it instantly but if he can't make direct contact he can do it very slowly, he starts by altering the memories they are currently experiencing to make the illusion/dream and the while keeping the dream going he slowly works back turning more and more of their memories and stands into disks. It's not really explained well in the anime but it's a super situational ability that can easily be interrupted and only really works on someone once so he hasn't tried it again.

Yeah fairy tales are a bit....Messed up.... VERY MESSED UP.... The goat one is "The Wolf and the Seven Young Goats" or KIDS as that is the word for young goats. Mama goat does literally cut up the wolfs stomach, remove his innards (( free her kids since in some versions they are still alive. )) and then DROWNS HIM !

Vlad Lynko

Dude has star mark. He os literally Giorgio bro from other mom. It's not Pucci religion thing. Jonathan dick made them

Touhou RS

Luke you gotta look into the original Brothers Grimm version of children's fairy tale stories.

Kindyh Bordat

luke, you can really be slow sometimes, he as a star so he is Dio/Jonathan biological son.

Amadeus

If Sevro came for you, that will be the worst and best day of your life.

Ungalo is a depressing character overall, inherited some of his fathers absolute worst aspects and vices (( Dio was a raging alcoholic before becoming a vampire, which most people forget. )), sure he lived but falling back into a drug addicts despair afterwards is not exactly great either. His life situation and Stand is similar to the song that it is named from, he probably sunk back into that pitch dark hole again that Pucci dragged him out of for a tiny moment, his violent and destructive nature might be inherited from his father and likely did color his life a lot.

8:10 Yeah original versions of popular stories are often brutal. Did you know that the original story of Cinderella ends with both her sisters' eyes being pecked out by birds?

Barbietube

Ok so... what if an evil dbz villain came to life, are we just fucked? Worse yet, what if a cosmic lovecraftian being step foot into our reality from that Bum's stand ability?

Brynden

I think a dbz hero would defeat the villain, just like the goat was about to kill Anasui. But yeah, in some stories the bad guys win and they destroy the world or stuff. I dont know if the Stand can make that happen and it was defeated before it did it, or if the Stand just have limits on what they can do.

Bryan Ross

It probably would have worked if he made a character whose story ends with White snakes death, but not quick enough to keep them alive. He probably also just didn't think about it at the time.

Brynden

No need to be rude. At this point of the story, it's not clear still and his theories are totally valid (Pucci doing something to them would make sense). I would even prefer if you and other people stop spelling out stuff that will be explained more clearly in the next episodes, the point of watching a first time reaction is to see theories and stuff like that from the point of view of someone new to the fandom, even if Luke gets things wrong sometimes (which is normal).

Brynden

I love the silly ending scene, even Pucci looked confused lol. I think it exists to keep the pacing, but it's still so funny.

Rahzma

You do not want this stand bringing Red Rising to you. Remember, you have to complete the story. Now ask yourself this, do you really, really, want to complete anyone's story in Red Rising?

Canelas

8:34 That was actually funny xD

Lucas Prestes

Also cut their feet to fit the shoes

Lucas Prestes

Pinocchio was the only one not returning because he was killed

nik

there’s absolutely no need to be rude. Also, don’t be spoiling things that will be explained in the upcoming episodes

DrA

With Van Gogh it's officially a suicide, but there's also a theory a kid accidently shot him, and he claimed suicide not wanting the kid to get in trouble, but there isn't enough information for it to be conclusive with the witness claiming innocent even in old age.

Kindyh Bordat

@Bryden Brother it's my first time watching stone ocean too, so you are the ones spoiling me right now. I'm just stating obvious things, maybe my IQ is too high if you think average people would get this wrong.

Kindyh Bordat

@Nik you are the one spoiling me, it's my first time watching stone ocean, i'm just saying common sense.

Okay after this part, is the parts that I start really loving. Unlike some other community members, I completely agree that Jailhouse Rock was an annoying arc. It made sense, but like when Narancia had to deal with Talking Head it is intentionally a frustrating mechanic to an ability. And at least that arc had the threat of Clash jumping around water and biting shit. And Narancia's problem didn't feel like it lasted overly long and drove the fight forward. Jolyne, unfortunately could have died instantly if Mew Mew wanted once she fell into the trap. Mew Mew left her alive for an unknown reason, when Whitesnake is not the kind of villain to usually allow that. Giving her the free will to toy with jolyne let the story continue at the cost of it making less sense, and thats the arc Jolyne goes through in general there. As for Bohemian Rhapsody. I love the devastating power and designs of the Sons of Dio's stands, and this one definitely shows how the stakes have gone crazy in the third act of Stone Ocean, but it's a little bit too over the top at the start. I would have preferred if he was second and not first. It reminds me of when Chocolatta goes crazy on Rome. It ramps up the tension before getting closer to the finale, which while amazing, does have similar problems to Part 5's ending that you'll have to wait and see. For those that are in the know, I mainly mean how part 4 and prior had more "person-focused" objectives, whereas, Part 5 and 6 had more "object-focused" objectives. An example I can give that isn't a spoiler is how Part 5 had everyone focused on a Requiem arrow for like 8 eps, but Part 6 has a lot of focus on certain discs like Jotaro's two discs. I can think of at least two times already in Part 6 where villains pull an Illuso and STOP killing a main character to run after some object. My best guess on why Araki did this is to show how focused on the end objective villains are that they underestimate the resolve of the MCs. It is thematically consistent but sacrifices the threat of the villains everytime he does this. I hope he abandons this motif in Part 7, which I have yet to read, but am excited to see.
