Versus is directly based on Holes yep, likely the novel itself from 1998 though, for him everything became worse in every way possible after being locked up. You can really notice all the little similarities each of the four known sons of Dio that we know about have inherited, of course they all inherited some things from Jonathan as well, the overall amount depends a bit.

Ungalo mainly the anger issues and addictions. Versus the toxic pride and superiority complex not to mention the absolutely nasty ideas and nature (( remember Dio made a mother eat her own baby.... Versus is very much on the KILL THEM KIDS level....)) While Giorno and Rikiel are more similar to Jonathan, Giorno has both the courage and kindness of Jonathan and the ruthless nature of Dio, while Rikiel is the one mostly like Jonathan, first timid and weak until gaining courage and true honor, he even sets himself on fire in order to fight his opponent, just like Jonathan did when fighting Dio.

Heavy Weather is the most ridiculous stand power you will see imo. Not bc of power but bc it doesn't even make sense. But Araki does take stories tonight JoJo like part 9 has alot of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul references. I am sure he is influenced by what is popular at the time just like alot is influenced by JoJo.

So in regards to Steel Ball Run, we do not know if we are getting an actual season yet, cause they fricking will not give any actual proper information about it ! So as far as we know, the upcoming Steel Ball Run FIRST STAGE ! Is just that....... The first stage in a 47 min special..... And they flat out have not confirmed or said shit other then that and some very fake reports are saying it is weekly after...... Yeah so.... Yeah that might be all we get for a bit.... "insert anxiety here"

Every episode from now on is hugely crazy. Part 7 is coming march 19, so if you upload episode every 2 days like you do, then you would end up watching part 7 like march 23th. I have an idea that you could do 4 episodes like you normaly do and other eps will be uploaded like 1 ep/day you would watch part 7 just on time. Or you could make 2eps video instead of one and make it every 2 days. Its just my idea. if you dont have time to do that, it will be completly fine.

Speaking of Jojo references. One of the ultimate and my favorite references Araki did in this episode is a deep cut to music he liked enough to name characters stands after: (In P5 Sojiro's voice) 'Let me explain!' Weather Forecast gaining the ability Heavy Weather, due to Versus' interference with Underworld is a direct reference to the real life British electronic group Underworld's song/album titled "Change the Weather." Like he literally changes Weather. Love it, and I unironically love Heavy Weather and all the chaos coming from the next few eps. Even if they contain some of the most idiotic Jojo moments, they also contain some of the best.

I hope that the end of this part will be as good as everyone says. I'm just watching this rn because of Luke. The last 10 episodes were just...I don't know, kind of boring, they had good ideas but the execution was not that good, tbh. I'm a Jojo fan, but this is probably my less favorite part of them all. 19:47 I feel that this is one of the big problems in this part. Edit: Weeeell... the last part of the episode was kind of good though...

@S4ean you can find the schedule in the discord or on the main channels youtube community page Lukes weird and doesn't post it here~ The tri weekly and the double saturday slots are series that have generally finished so are pre-recorded on any weeks Luke is away streams & seasonals always get paused during that time. HP and sentenced just got the short end of the stick as they come out later in the week when hes been gone for 3 weeks in a row unlike Oshi which was caught as he was here for it. Hes playing catchup over the next few weeks so don't stress shows have not been dropped
