So happy we’re completing Gachiakuta as there were only a few EPs left. The same goes for Hells Paradise and STBAH. It felt a bit strange to stop them right before they ended. Literally less than 5 EPs left on each. Hopefully we get to complete them soon.

Gachiakuta getting finished while Sentenced sits in the cuck chair, never been more sad in my life

I can’t believe I slept through the stream, I’m a failure of a mod!

argonenero

Haven't been in the loop lately. Did Luke mention why Tensura and Atelier are a stream reaction, unlike the normal seasonal reaction, like Re: Zero? TIA

Sian Richardson

Witch Hat starts at 1:55:00 for anyone who wants to watch just that.

As far as Agott goes, I haven’t gotten far enough in the manga to know her backstory, but it’s clear she holds deep, elitist pride in what it means to be a witch and the work she’s put in to do it, and for some reason the idea that “anyone,” even an outsider like Coco who drew a spell on accident, is capable of being a witch too, really wounds that pride. It’ll be interesting to find out why she feels that way. This anime definitely has that unique “it” factor of telling a familiar story in a new way. It reminds me a lot of Ghibli films in a way, with this sort of “softer” version of the hero’s journey that you see with a lot of Ghibli protagonists (Kiki, Sophie, Chihiro). There’s nothing inherently special about them, but they accomplish great things with their wits and courage, and they become special to those around them just by being themselves.

Mericat

The scene of Coco remembering her mother and finally grabbing the flower is one of the most beautiful and emotionally resonant scenes I’ve ever seen

Amberyootoob

I THINK it’s to make the time for it, he’s a busy man.

is the "WHY HELLO" breaking up coz luke was faking a yell, or it broke the microphone?

Irimu

1. She is not calling her a Princess, she is calling her "Hime-sama" which can mean princess but here it's just a high ranking young lady. 2. Karstedt is Sylvester and Ferdinands cousin.

Irimu

"And it was never brough up again" he says while pausing on the scene where it's brought up again.

If you forgot last weeks Tensura episode the reason that they are desperate to stop Green Fury is because due to Hinata going beast mode they are missing boss monsters on floors beyond 60 so in order to not look incompetent they have to stop them The reason that nobody worries about Rimurus power is because he always redirected his achievements to someone else, the Orc Lord credit went to Yolm, The Falmuth massacre was Credited to Veldora, His victory over Hinata was declared a draw, and nobody knows he possesses 4 Ultimate Skills, at this point only 2 people know he has an Ultimate, Veldora knows from when Raphael came up to him insode Rimurus stomach to tell him to get his ass to work and evolving his Unique skill into an Ultimate, and Guy Crimson from his power fluctuation trap at the Walpulgis meeting where Rimuru unknowingly fell for it, Diablo and Benimaru know that there is someone else inside Rimuru from interacting with Raphael during the Harvest Festival but they dont know its origin

Marcel Hanke

Dont hate the slime meetings too much, they are important for the world building and politics in there.

davguev

I really enjoy the politics side of Tensura. Sad that it's not the case for many people. I guess that's why Maoyuu Maou Yuusha has such a meh score in MyAnimeList.

Joshua Vaughn

Witch Hat has been my Frieren substitute. And it may wind up being on part with it if this keeps up.

Nikkelz

he got noise gated. microphone said "no"

I suppose, but the only thing higher ranking than an Archduke is either a King/Emperor or Queen/Empress. I'm not sure about the system in Bookworm, but often the children of an Archduke/Archduchess might hold the rank of Duke or Duchess. Calling them a prince or princess could be considered appropriate, particularly as a lower case version of the title (Prince vs. prince).

Irimu

The difference between the royal family and an every day noble is almost as big as the difference between a noble and a commoner. They don't treat nobles quite as badly as nobles treat commoners but they can decree pretty much whatever they want. Anything short of a civil war, like we recently had, there is not much nobles can hope to do to stop them from doing whatever they want. Suggesting that Rozemyne is the same rank as the royal family will be very offensive to the royal family. Right now Rozemynes rank is high in Ehrenfest but quite low in the country as a whole. That's the beauty of Bookworm. It keeps opening up slowly and showing you a world that you didn't even know existed.

Yero19

Witch Hat deserves its own segment and shouldn't be relegated to a streaming with a bunch of other things.

Ty L

The thing that stands out the most for me about Witch Hat Atelier is the magic design being very dangerous, alot of shows you just fly and dont need to worry about physics, but here you have to balance and think about keeping the seal intact, at any moment the cloth with the seal could have ripped. The way they portray the falling and holding on makes it feel dangerous as well.

Iron_claw

You really need to take this vod and edit all the different anime's that you reacted to in this vod into there own separate uncensored reaction videos and upload them separately from each other hear on patreon so that way the reaction for each separate anime that you watch in this stream is easier to find by itself

Frentzy

Ok so maybe you don't know but, patreon has "tags". and you search by 'tags' whatever anime you want. Certain anime like death note got hit by copy right so he had to change tags to like DNS1. But other animes...? You can just search: "Gachiakuta" and you gonna see this stream for those who saw ep 1-20 and wanted to see ep 21. So if u wanna watch a certain anime and can't find it... just search the tags for each anime and check for latest upload and BOOM. and if you say searching in a 2h VOD is hard to do . I mean fair enough but still z.z it's a few click .

Mason

Tensura: its not they downplay a lot Rimuru's strength (they do) but you forget Veldora is on par with milim who is stronger than rimuru no spoilers

Cronosoul

The problem is for me, is there's some seasonal anime I'm not caught up with, so while flicking through this VOD I might accidentally spoil myself...

idkwhy

Really love to see Tensura here

idkwhy

Overlord is less chill, so Tensura is more pleasurable to watch when you want to chill
