Bro… really… Sure, I’m not an expert, and yes, some dogs love behind the ears, like the last guy said. But I was going based off how his dog was reacting getting pet on the head, I had context, I’m not just rattling facts I read off the internet like some know it all, I am just a fellow dog lover. My dog loves head scratches, but sometimes she doesn’t, they also have feelings that can change, so if they rear back when you pet their head… pet somewhere else. Anyway, sorry if I came off like ☝️🤓.

In Asia (maybe China specifically) cutting hair is usually dishonorable. Here, they cut their hair as a way of showing them starting on a new path, cutting off their ties of the past. Sort of a way of showing they did something "dishonorable" (but he'll get his "honor" back someday) It's significant though, Mulan cut her hair too before the war.
