Im loving the avatar reactions but its been a while since I've asked this probably 2 months ago now but when are Haikyu reactions Hell's Paradise reactions and sentenced to be a hero reactions coming back to patreon like i don't mean to be rude but me personally im getting very very very impatient we've all been waiting for like 3 or 4 months now and you haven't updated us on what's going on or what's happening at all Luke and frankly im getting annoyed and impatient with the lack of communication between you and us the people who watch you and your reactions you really need to start doing a better job especially hear on patreon.

Mariam Jarju

any beyonce reactions coming today or is it only on Mondays

Daniel Turchan

“Been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding” good quote from a good song

Nikkelz

All of these have been commented on several times. If its lack of information you guys need to not skip over Lukes talking portions. STBAH has already returned in the mixed slot following gachiakuta's ending & Haikyuu will be back on the 31st on sundays rumble streams. Hells won't return until STBAH is over.

Iron_claw

Cool I've watched his talking portions of his reactions but 99% of the time he says he's gonna do something soon and it never happens he hasn't been keeping his word and he could post a schedule or a post a big paragraph explaining everything hear on patreon like everybody else that I follow on hear does but he doesn't and he has been asked to post updates and schedules hear bye hundreds of people but he never does im done with his excuse anymore there bull shit

SidekickSteph

Great reactions as usual! I LOL many times, especially when you talked about Yoda teaching Aang 😂

Honestly, I have the hindsight and I still don't get Bumis "logic". Sure, doing nothing might be an option for you to harness some juju and you know you're fine and can strike when the time is right. What about your citizens? The people that were entrusted into your care? If YOU want to surrender, you could have ordered your people to evacuate the city, your military to protect them and find a save haven, communicated your thought process, anything! No, you decided to have them all be occupied, probably have the earth benders be imprisoned over time (knowing what happened in other areas where the fire nation took over), naturally have a resistance/militia thing being formed which will get a lot of people hurt - and that is supposed to be the best course of action? Even with hindsight: sure get yourself imprisoned, but get your people to safety first and freaking communicate!

@Nikkelz i know its been mentioned before but tbh (and i've said this before) it would just be better to have these information posted somewhere, instead of it being mentioned in random videos or on discord in random channels, which gets drowned out in conversation

Aang refers to Bumi as a "Mad genius", but he's 12. The only evidence we see of that is that he turned a slide for packages into a slide for people. A regular 5 year old could easily have that idea. Everyone besides Aang just refers to him as mad, and they seem to be more correct.

Lichmourne

If you pay attention to the start of the episode, they didn't neglect their child. The whole family was out on the balcony distracted by the mass exodus happening with their zombie citizens while the child wondered off in that mess. About Bumi, I'm pretty sure less people were harmed by instantly surrendering compared to fighting to the bitter end. I don't think he can solo the fire nation himself without casualties.

Next week, here we go.

You will find out eventually why they were drawn to the swamp

Craig

You are super misunderstanding bumi and confusing Omashu for Ba Sing Se. Bumi didnt choose not to fight for no reason. He saved the lives of his people and preventes unnecessary suffering and death that comes with seige warfare. And he cant go with aang because he literally said he is waiting for his opening that is what neutral jing is. Waiting and striking

Alexy Guerrero Ceja

well, Aang just learned that everything is connected, katara that she could plant bend, and theres the illusions too, that's what happened this episode, every "adventure" they learn and improve, or train or free people, just don't say it explicitly always like random dora (I read it and figured it may sound harsh or aggressive but no, just wanted to explain in few words how they improve or you may miss future major plot points)

Craig

Because taking Omashu would most likely result in Seige warfare. At least under occupation people will eat and survive. If they chose to fight the fire nation would atarve them and choke them slowly. There would be infinitely more people suffering and dying and that is the reasoning.

Alexy Guerrero Ceja

Well I probably had to shut up better xd, you literally talked about it at the end, that you prefer the answers being given or the skills acquired, so yeah, great job past me for being partially irrelevant

AttackRunRepeat

I agree that you should totally watch Wolf Children. It's on the level of A Silent Voice if you watch it as a parent. It's phenomenal.

Thomas Winget

"Within 10 seconds we've already been eaten by a giant ass leech." xkcd 37 says hello. (not sure if you want people dropping links here)

Rainet

The whole philosophy of Jings are quite interesting and its too bad they don't really show up ever again lol ETA: I think a key part of understanding Bumi's decision is that he knows Aang has returned and needs to find a way to end the war within about a year. Its no longer about winning or losing a battle; its about minimizing harm until the Avatar deals with the Firelord, and he's got a very clear clock.

Rainet

While Fire Nation occupation isn't exactly pleasant, they aren't generally out there torturing and pillaging. When we see Fire Nation occupied territories, they tend to be under strict martial law but are not outright being mistreated (with the notable exception of benders, who get carted off to prison camps). I think the key fact in Bumi's decision was that he KNOWS Aang has returned and the war is going to end, one way or another, within a year. Bumi could have held out for a long time against a siege, but it would have been miserable and costly for the citizenry. He basically chose to have his people spend that year in occupation rather than under siege, which is PROBABLY a better situation. Basically, he's just minimizing harm until Aang is ready to deal with Ozai. Also, I think its safe to assume that there was no easy way to get the citizens to safety when he made that decision. The problem with fortress cities is that they have limited entries and exits, and that can box them in just as well as it keeps the enemy out. ETA: As far as Bumi being a mad "genius"; he's definitely an earth-bending genius. We only really see one other earth bender anywhere near his level that's not an Avatar incarnation. But yeah, he's not necessarily any other kind of genius xD

Rainet

Props for taking homeless people to lunch :) Something you maybe haven't considered; there's a huge difference between giving a stranger a sandwich and buying them a sandwich at a fastfood place or whatever while they're with you. It's horrible, but there are people out there who will give the poor... modified... food items, so letting them see it came straight from a business is actually a really big deal.

Lacirev

Your speech about your experience with parenting and choosing to have children was very beautiful

AnimeGT3 .

I cant wait for my favorite character to show up! :D

Pepe Valdez

This is just S2 episode 4 and half of episode 3. Maybe something went wrong while uploading it.

Anarchy

From what I’ve seen. Seems like Ty Lee went with Azula because azula probably would’ve just kept escalating the circus stuff until it destroyed itself.

Zaki Alkabli

I feel like you dont take into account how spiritual everything is. Not everything has to be “someone” /nm

Kenneth Maliwat

He doesn't know anything about Ba Sing Se. His points about Omashu are valid. It was one of the two remaining great bastions of the Earth Kingdom, which is why Aang thought it would be a safe place to learn earthbending in the first place. An argument definitely could have been made for Omashu holding out in a siege, it's a literal fortress city on a mountain. We only know it was the right decision because of hindsight and plot shenanigans.

Lavenderdazed

Sokka: watches his gf turn into the moon......still doesn't believe in anything spiritual

Jeffrey Keyton

"I kinda hate Bumi, Man." NAH LUKE, LET THE MAD KING COOK

Krowft

Luke is right! I WOULD rather have a leader that would kill us all by fighting when we don't have a very good chance of winning than one who waits until there is an actual chance of winning :) Especially when, since he surrendered, none of the people were actually killed and they even just managed to all escape without any casualties, what a bad king, I would much rather most of them have been killed in a struggle that the king didn't think they would win in the first place I mean, he literally says "waits for the right time to strike", so he's clearly completely given up altogether

Craig

No he does know about Ba Sing Se it has been mentioned multiple times and he keeps refferring to exactly what was said about it. And know we dont only know it was the right choice because of shenanigans. We know it is a valid choice because again in history seige warfare is way more brutal.

StrykerEvol

If you watch Korra, the sequel to Aang's story, you will definitely see more unusual applications of bending styles.

Sakura Minamino

It is very short sighted on Luke's part, but siege warefare is not pleasant. On top of casualties of war, you are essentially trapped in this fortress. That means no food coming in, water can be poisoned, moral drops the longer it continues, and there is a good chance of rioting, distrust, and just dying slowly within the walls of your own nation until you fall. It's a game of endurance. As others have said, occupation isn't pleasant, but no one dies carelessly and food and operations will continue. People might hate you for it, but Bumi decided it was better to wait for an opertune time rather than being locked in walls no one can escape. Obviously, this could backfire, but in the heat of the moment, you have to try your best to predict the best outcome for your people. Going down with a blaze of glory sounds great, but you put women, children, eldery, and others who can't fight in harms way who may not necessarily want to go down with you.

Kaylee Smeaton

Id love to be a mother. But due to poor physical and mental health its just not an option.
