The reason for the dark screen when there's light is because of something that happened many many years ago in japan in a pokemon episode. Because of Pikachu's flash lights, many people who were watching TV had Epilepsy. Because of that, anything that goes on the TV has this safe guards

People telling you to skip this episode want you to get to the “peak moments” faster. But the MHA recap episodes are pretty solid compared to other anime.

Yea. Pikachu uses a thunder attack in this episode, which caused the problems. Then the episode was banned because of that

Iirc the screen dimming is there to take down the brightness and flashiness to prevent seizures (after that one Pokemon episode that supposedly caused seizures in a bunch of kids) - it's present in broadcast/streaming versions usually but taken off for bluray/DVD releases!

It isn't really related to this episode but I always admire the fact that whenever we see Izuku cry it's always caused by his emotions - he never, not even once, cried from physical pain and I love this fact about him <3

You might as well check out the OVAs too. "Save! Rescue Training" "Training of the Dead" These two come before season 3. There are 9 OVAs in total. Training of the Dead is a fan favorite.

Just so you know, there are only 4 filler episodes in MHA including this one and they're all worth watching. So if people tell you to skip episodes in the future you can just ignore them.

I used to get those sore spots on my head right before a bump formed there. Usually caused by eating something I shouldn't. Haven't had any for awhile, though. Who knows. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

The Pokémon Shock was so bad and gave kids so many seizures that it became a law to dim any bright flashy scenes to get an episode aired on tv. You see it’s most used in animes like jjk where pretty much all of season 2 is dimmed. This rule dosent apply to movies or blu-ray hard copies which is why the reze movie and jjk’s blu-ray fights were so much better than everything else.

@Daniel Gonzalez you know what's bullshit? The incident apparently had nothing to do with Porygon, because it wasn't in the scene when it happened, but still to this day, it has not officially appeared in the Western versions of the anime, because *that* episode was the only one it appeared in, and it was never aired outside of Japan. #JusticeForPorygon

Sounds like you have some minor inflammation due to a clogged pore or ingrown hair, it may also be the beginning of a minor scalp infection or many many other minor skin conditions, but if I had to bet, one of your sebum producing pores got clogged with dust or some other debris and it caused the area to swell up and giving the pain that you are describing kind of like a pimple, but more like the annoying ones you get on the bridge or tip of you nose that don't really make a bump or anything but they are painful due to the inflammatory response of the immune system causing the production of puss to capture/contain the foreign body. Basically nothing to worry about even if you do end up with a painful bump in the next few days, Tylenol and/or Ibuprofen for pain every 6 hours as needed, preferably ibuprofen as it is an anti-inflammatory drug. If after a week pain worsens, you vomit, you get headaches, vision changes, or any other concern go get it checked at an Urgent care or with your family Doctor as these might be signs you have developed and infection and need to have a small course of antibiotics(ER takes waaaay to long if you aren't dying).

Head thing could be a bug bite or an under the skin pimple. Or maybe its a lump from bumping it. If it isn't gone in a week or so or gets worse maybe ask your doctor, all these things should have healed or mostly healed by then.

with those "skip requests" they seem like not fans of the anime, but like hype fans (only like the peak moments and disregard true peak) and that is kinda sad. He never saw the good fillers of naruto classic, because they wanted to skip the funny/silly parts, that make you love the side characters.

Get that lump checked mate, my mum had skin cancer more center of her forehead that needed to be frozen (liquid nitrogen) which sounds similar, later during covid it came back and because she couldn't be seen it had to be cut out - the cancer wasn't melanoma but could have become it. There was no visible sign from hers either. My dad just died of melanoma skin cancer that spread which was on his arm and was the visible kind like a growth or mole. They will have to do a biopsy if they are concerned about it, but just wear a hat during reactions, but as someone who has found solace from your reactions, during the year of losing both parents, one of which was from cancer, I want to say: You should get it checked. My dad left his too long as he is stubborn Irish. Yours could just be a cyst or something minor but you should just check. We pay our taxes, the NHS is there for free so its silly not to get peace of mind for something like that. I could understand in the USA as it could be financially crippling. I did not say the above for any sympathy, but as to why I am emphasizing that you should get it looked at by a GP.

Invisible Girl is fun joke but there honestly tone of question about her the show has refused to ask. For starters if her only power is being invisible to visible light.... she really is not that much better than a quirkless. I will also have to asume her blody can bend light, if she just see-through, there some amazing stupid problems that woud give 1) she have to starve else we would see food in her body 2) her eyes are invisible, let me repeat that her organs for detecting visible light are invisible to set light 3) ignoring the having to go around naked if her blood was invisible..... well there is a natural thing young adolescent girls do that would end up REALLY GROSE when you literal can not see it. She dose have cloth on for the most times, so there is that, its really only in fights and training.... Anyways its not really an ability you can train and get better in, all she can do is train in normal combat.
