pretty sure the kid never once said he didn't have a quirk. also no we haven't met a bunch of people that don't have quirks, deku and all might are the only ones we know of i think. and the 1000000% shot deku threw was definitely just 100% it was more of a battle cry, or atleast meaning his punches he previously thought were 100% were more like 70% as this one wasn't too much stronger

As a writer myself (a poor one, at that) I can attest that there are times I'm writing a story and want the characters to do something then it just evolves into something completely different that's better. And it's like all the setup I did no longer makes sense.

I just assumed he manifested his quirk because of the trauma? This is why they were rushing training to begin with. To get them license to fight legally as needed. Because the bad guys are clearly after the students. I forgot Deku called him Kaachan to Mandalay. He's such an idiot. I love him. Like who the heck is Kaachan? That wasnt helpful. Ah, I like TodoBaku too. I'm such a dirty multishipper.

I think you need ground rules and build on that, but try to make it believable. I am just a reader, but, if I know the rules and see them build on that is what is very enjoyable for me (fighting or reacting to situations).

Kona already had the quirk, you can see in ep 3 the depression in the rock face that was covered in water. He apparently goes there to blast it with his water quirk on the regular.

Kota never once said that he didn't have a quirk. He said he hated them bothering to train their quirks because he didn't see the point in being a hero, but that's as close as it got. Also, it's not so much that Tokoyami is fighting his friends, Dark Shadow is. Remember that it's a completely separate entity with its own personality. It's just that in the dark it gets out of control and Tokoyami can't stop it.

Just because not everyone you've met *uses* their quirks, doesn't mean they don't have them. Tsukauchi, the kids in the other courses, the policemen, the random civvies... according to the narrated intro from season 1, 80%, i.e. 4 out of 5 people in the world have quirks.

i feel like he did it because the villains don't know that nickname but everyone in class A and likely Class B will recognize it with how loud and terrible bakugo's rep is with class B.

It shouldn't come as a surprise to you that the villains are after Kacchan to recruit him. After all, you yourself thought he was a villain—or someone who would become one—at the beginning. ^^

You should check it out its pretty great and all movies are technically canon they just don't get discussed much in the main series but they all have a place where they fit on the timeline 1st movie is after the teacher exams at the end of S2 but before summer camp in S3

On patreon, the part 20 mins in where the gun is first shot, the anime is just not shown for like a full 20 seconds. This has happened a few times in the past too when you take the video away when you pause, you sometimes forget to put it back until you pause again Thankfully it was shown in the YouTube version but not seeing the anime during these scenes is very bad.. I know it’s just a mistake but, you really don’t need to remove the footage every time you pause, sometimes you’re talking about what’s shown on screen and pointing things out but we can’t see the footage lol Just don’t want this to happen during a big moment

The thing with the permission is that the students are allowed to use their quirks only for the training. In case of emergency they are supposed to fall back and let the pros do their job. Eraser head giving them green light means they can freely use them to fight

I'm pretty sure Deku used more than 100%, just like All Might used it against Nomu. He of course didn't use 1000000%, but Deku definetely used more than 100%. The first punch was 100%, he even said "That was All Might power"

The reason Eraser asked Deku if he remembers Hosu is because he needed to make sure Deku didn't go looking for a fight. When Deku said "No, but..." Eraser took it was Deku didn't go looking for a fight. He trusted that Deku didn't fight the villian because he wanted to, but because he HAD to to survive and couldn't get away. So he understood that the students had to fight to survive.

I've always said My Hero Academia has few original ideas, but its execution of everything is near flawless. It's stealing all the best from the greats that came before it and boiling it all down to pure condensed hype.
