Tailmon

the fourth turning point is coming soon 😨🐀👴

Krawbs

Tengen from Demon Slayer thinks Rudy needs to get on his level.

Biblibob

The first two seasons covered the first half of the entire story

Kevin Baker

Cliff has responsabilities

chakalicious

With how wholesome (weird) the entire episode was, I swore we would end with a certain redhead knocking on the door SMH

Vicente Machuca

in last episode, when nina went to face rudeus, badigadi was so strong that he not only fought everyone, he also let every person hit one hit on him, and then he knocked them up, nina did a full sword of light direct to badi's neck, she couldn't even get past the skin, she did the most damage of anyone there. when rudeus exploded badi, she couldn't even understand how vast their difference must been, she just knew rudy was on a league of his own. the sword that badi broke was nina's sword, not a random one, so it also symbolize how her pride broke, humbled she started going even more deep in the art of the sword and respecting eris knowing how high she is pointing. i think, that part 1, will end in probably the meanest cliffhanger that has been seen in this channel btw, so brace yourself.

Joshua Vaughn

At this point, the panties are more of a symbol that has helped him through all of his hard times. So as weird as it is they remind him of everything he has been through and overcome. And they actually have helped him keep calm in situations when he was losing his cool.

Joshua Vaughn

Also season 3 will be 27 episodes split into 2 cours.

Oatmeal1504

If I remember right, I think the author has confirmed that the mana absorption the hydra used had its limits, so Rudy could've pounded it with magic and eventually overwhelmed it on his own.

Fay X84

Speaking of timeline, now we are back to the present, but the events couple of episodes with Eris were way before (when Rudy still believed that Sylphy was a boy). So, at this moment in the story, we can say that she is way stronger with way bigger assets. 😎

German4Media

noo please watch the ending next time, its new and has no spoilers

jdoggivjc

I do think the author is male, and I do think the interactions among the wives feels "weird", but honestly - watch Sister Wives or another show centered around polygamy sometime - this is just how they live, even if it seems foreign to us.

Fabien

Don't worry about what could happen in S3. If the 2 arcs I'm thinking about are adapted, it should be crazy.

jdoggivjc

The movie reference you're looking for from what Aisha said was from the movie Working Girl. Tess' (Melanie Griffith) friend Cynn says the line "Can I get you anything, Mr. Trainor? Coffee? Tea? Me???" when Jack (Harrison Ford) shows up unexpectedly to see Tess, and Tess has her play secretary to keep the lie going that she's an executive. (and yes - I had to look that up because it has bothered me for years - but I did know the line)

Sasane Sane

The "do you want dinner first or do you want a bath first or do you want me?" is just a trope used again and again in a lot of anime, so it's no surprise if you feel like you've already seen it before^^

Kamil Butala

I cant believe that you did not watch the ending sequence ! Cmn Luke how do you miss that :D Love you man ! :)

Shana

I'm not proud of Rudy and his wives, but I do appreciate that if you do happen to have two wives you may as well fuckin' double down on the degeneracy and be totally unapologetic about it.

EvilGodAsura

So if a woman wrote the show it would somehow be more realistic? Ok. A woman wrote 100 girlfriends. Your move genius.

Obscuremango

There's a few changes, they called it the zaliff prothestgis if I remember. It was another teacher with Roxy who she was gonna replace with him leaving the school. But that change was alright. It cut that Ariel was mad that he never said goodbye to her before leaving. But the montage for the I'm back was ok. Cliff had a go at him in class not afterwards but the change was good imo and shows cliff is changing for the better rather than doing it in a public setting. The basement you'll notice a small box in front that is cloth from the bed when Sylphie and his first time . His religion went from joke to serious. He worships those 2 ladies, they saved him and he sees them as gods because of it, it's how serious he loves and adores. Also it wasn't " didn't need a teacher." It was "Didn’t you say I wasn’t worthy of that title" in response to being called master/teacher.

Obscuremango

The basement you'll notice a small box in front of the pantsu that is cloth from the bed when Sylphie and his first time . His religion went from joke to serious. He worships those 2 ladies, they saved him and he sees them as gods because of it, it's how serious he loves and adores. In the books we see he isn't praying as a joke but as he really sees them higher than himself, because he has that much respect and adoration for them. Welcome to the sister wives

Ningen 4 Life

I understood your meaning, but laughing at “he knocked them up” which in US slang means he got them pregnant.

Neki

"Roxy's changed." -Luke Ya near death experiences do that.

Obscuremango

The books make it way better. You make it sound like a normal harem style. It's so much better. It's less that he is married to them but they are just sisters now.

Obscuremango

It was cut but he took his mom to a lot of doctors but there is no healing for the mind in mushoku. So it to describe it without spoiling, it's like dementia. She has Servere dementia. As someone who works in a place with dementia patients, this is what she is going through, and also as I've had a family who had it, I know how Rudy must feel, knowing that almost everything is gone.

ArtKi

1:50 Curious about the conversation when Eris shows up? WHAT conversation? Eris: Here I am. Everybody else: YES, MA'AM! 8:18 PREWATCHED!

Obscuremango

Oh that's cool, I never caught that from him. Avoiding getting hit would probably be the biggest challenge against it still

Mad Man Moon

I mean youre right, but no need to be condescending lol. And just in general Lukes insight there was mostly accurate.

Zer0

Luke, wonders how Sylphy feels, we get how Sylphy feels. Luke: A man wrote this.

EvilGodAsura

His insight acts like there aren't women that make the same kind of content. Sharing one super husband. Being a concubine. Or Otome games where you have 5 super models chasing you. It's just another "This is weird" comment everyone makes on literally every harem anime ever and its not clever or original.

Mr. Dog

Luke forgets that Sylphie is also a huge closet pervert. She has very perverted fantasies. Go back to season 2. So I think Sylphy is fine with Roxy as the 2nd wife.

Zer0

I mean, the pantie wearer is right upstairs.

ArtKi

He likes to do those as separate reactions.

Parkster01

Hell Yes! More Jobless Reincarnated! I can get behind that

Parkster01

I thought the Mana Hydra was a proximity thing? And that ONE of the heads had magic-nullification (though, I might be mistaking that with Arifureta)

Loki

not much, lot of harems are written by women and way more "unrealistic" in that department, actually mushoku tensei gave a realistic reason for all of this, written by a man or women doesn't make something be more realistic or not, this discussion about "anime written by men vs anime written by women" never made sense, it comes from the standpoint that all women are saints and this is just not true.

Kino M.P

Well, they are lying around, so you know, maybe he defeated them both as a warrior and as a man xD

Kino M.P

No, i don't think so, it was not disturb magic it was something more passive, so it probably either regenerated very quickly or it absorbed magic, in which case it would just heal the hydra and in the first case, rudeus could break it but not for long enough to be effective. He already poured alot of his mana into it and it didn't do jack shit.

Isaac Norton

Mind you he has been inside the deity that the relic was worn by.

Amberyootoob

Sylphie and Roxy have regular wife meetings to discuss how to make everything work better.

Paul

It's not just Roxy's panties that are in the shrine. That box holds the bloody part of the bed sheet Rudy cut out after Sylphy's first time. They showed the patched sheet and then him placing the box into the shrine at the start of season 2 episode 13.

Wakuza

i mean you know tbf when you think about it compare to real life its not that rare still uncommon considering there are people out there selling their own bathwater hair and somehow their fart in jar and some people as weird it is actually buy it

Amberyootoob

Actually a man wrote 100 girlfriends a woman illustrated it.

Amberyootoob

Sylphie married him knowing she’d never be the only wife.

Vicente Machuca

out of context i can see it now, my second language but still wild that i didn't notice that

In our societies, which have become monogamous (with a good dose of hypocrisy*), I understand that Rudeus’s family situation can make people feel uncomfortable… but be careful not to make hasty and insulting judgments about today’s polyamorous couples. Because that’s exactly what we’re talking about here. And polyamory is practiced in the West. It follows the same moral rules as monogamous relationships (with less hypocrisy). I’ve known two polyamorous couples: one woman with two men, and the reverse. And things were going very well. It’s not a better model for a relationship; it’s just a different one. * I mention hypocrisy because, although our societies advocate monogamy, the rate of infidelity in the West is through the roof (including among women; a 2023 study in the United Kingdom found that, for the first time, the rate of infidelity among women was, by a small margin, higher than that of men). If we add to these cases of adultery, open relationships, swinging, and polyamorous couples… it seems obvious to me that monogamy isn’t as intuitive and natural to humans as some would like to believe. And social norms are changing. Just a few decades ago, Gay love/family was not tolerated (and it still isn't entirely), divorce was extremely frowned upon. In the past, people couldn’t marry multiple partners in their lifetime. Today, divorce is common. Remarrying once or several times is common. Having children out of wedlock is no longer considered a disgrace. There are blended families, with members from multiple families living under the same roof and children who have multiple fathers or mothers (biological and step-parents), whether married or just living together, with different last names...and today, this is no longer considered "weird", even though it is undeniable that these situations are more complex than the "traditional" family. So, be careful not to make hasty and inappropriate judgments. Mushoku Tensei tackles these themes intelligently and challenges us to think.

GTB

Because the preconceived notion that having multiple partners is exclusively a “guy thing” is particularly widespread. And from a certain perspective, it’s a sexist idea. A world-renowned sexologist said that, based on her 40 years of professional experience, women grow tired of a single partner much more quickly than men do. And that it’s social pressure that prevents them from engaging in certain behaviors that men allow themselves. If social norms change and this social pressure lessens… As I mentioned in another comment, a 2023 study in the United Kingdom found that, for the first time, the rate of infidelity among women was slightly higher than among men. I've always found this idea—which has religious origins—strange: the notion that women (for some reason) are by nature more faithful, less seductive, and have a lower sex drive. I've always seen this as far from reality and as a way of preventing women from embracing their desires and their sexuality. It’s an idea that cages them.

Zero

You definitely need to watch skipped content with this season😂. Also multiple wifes is a normal thing is the fantasy world of mushoku tensei, only millis followers have to have one spouse, so why would any of his wife's find it that weird.

Tamus Heath

You're not wrong; monogamy is a societal concept not a moral requirement, and it's amazing to have a story which properly considers how it works (in a world where monogamy isn't a universal assumption). Having said that, the amount you've written makes you seem sus.

Sai

How did I miss this post?? We back! Thank goodness for patreon, because I refuse to follow 2 different youtube channels by the same person. Rudy getting scolded by Cliff and Luke finds him being chill. Lol.

Sai

I think he tends to apply modern logic to it.

GTB

"That said, the amount you've written makes you seem sus. " And yet, I’m a staunch advocate of monogamy—that’s just how my personality works. I just don’t like judging others simply because they’re different, without knowing anything about it. As I said, I’ve known two polyamorous couples. One of them was a woman who was in love with me—both when I was single and later, after I started living with my wife. I couldn’t understand at all how her feelings could be sincere when she was happy with her partner. Over the years, her actions—which were always respectful and passionate—convinced me of her sincerity. And through our discussions on the subject, I eventually came to understand that people can function differently from me when it comes to love and relationships. I had a lot of questions about feelings and how this king of relationships actually work; and I came to understand that her sincerity was genuine and how these couples work. While I saw a lot of infidelity among monogamous couples around me, I was close to two polyamorous couples where everything was transparent, clear, and consensual. What I observed was that they were simply a couple—but a trio—with the same rules as a monogamous couple. What Mushoku Tensei shows, the way it portrays Rudy’s family situation, is pretty accurate in terms of what I observed in polyamorous couples. I’m still monogamous, but I understand polyamorous couples much better now. So in someway it bothers me when I see people judging them—whether by taking offense, feeling uncomfortable, or making crude jokes—just because it’s a different kind of relationship. That’s normal; they’re just not familiar with it. But that’s exactly why Mushoku is interesting—it gives them a new perspective on the matter. In these relationships, there’s love, there’s respect, and there’s a moral contract (adultery isn’t any more acceptable than it is in monogamous relationships, which is why Rudy apologizes to Sylphie).

Damian

I'm a Light Novel reader and I've read everything for Mushoku Tensei. But if there's one thing I will say is, THIS season will be life changing. You will think you know where something is going, only to turn around and get shot by a 12 gauge shotgun to the head. I am very excited to see how they'll continue to adapt the novel, I am very excited to see Luke's reaction to everything. I will sit down here, keep my mouth shut and enjoy everyone losing their minds. Also while this half of the season will be PEAK. The later half is going to be on a different level. I cannot wait. Enjoyed the reaction and I'm excited for the rest. Best of luck to your heart Luke.

The Pots

11:25 - Luke, Rudy is just being an overprotective brother to Norn, that's why he also mentioned his dad. it's a trait of people and a trope in anime for family members to be protective of their daughters/little sisters

The Pots

18:07 - you can tell that Luke is confused. it seems he hasn't registered what Millis religion is and the importance of it. that's why he still views and thinks everyone thinks having a second wife is weird when getting a second wife is normal cuz they're not specifically a Millis follower like Norn or Cliff

Stefan Jipa

22:30 that's exactly like Joseph Joestar, btw inner Rudeus same VA as young Joseph

Daniel Pitts

Where is the first two episodes? Is it only on YouTube? Edit: Never mind. Patreon search is just bad. Found it with the tag filter.
