There are so many parallels to the start of the first season in this episode, and I love to see it

Rem is best waifu

I like the slice of life pace just after a big event. Sometimes Mushoku Tenseu is best when you have time to catch your breath.

floxer

Honestly I got a bit teary eyed when Roxy wondered whether this is all just a nice dream while she is still trapped in the labyrinth...

Matheus Vitali

Not Luke saying I love this guy to geese ;(

Soulseller33

You mean, luke has cursed him now?

Matheus Vitali

You will see next season what I'm talking about

Tailmon

7:40 The anime adaptation missed this, but Rudeus also thought that Lucy might be reincarnated and tried to speak to her in Japanese and English, but she did not react to this. and for some reason they missed the fact that they hired a wet nurse for Lucy, since Sylphy goes to work. And we've already seen this person before...

Digit

This episode was so good with the tiny details. Highest quality slice of life. One of my favourites is how at the end, when Sylphie talks about her worries/inferiority complex and instead of saying anything, Rudy just hugs her tighter, looking a bit sad/guilty. Cuz they probably had that conversation and he told her not to worry many times before, so words aren't meaningful here, all he can do is act on them.

Amberyootoob

Muse Asia has the better subs and comes out an hour before Crunchyroll.

Hans Henrik Hansen

The bathwater is made by magic that is why the plant turned into a treant.

Hans Henrik Hansen

Yup you can really see Paul through Rudeus in these scenes. Feels like old MT is back, even though season 2 was good. But it did lack some of the charm from season 1, but we are seeing it again in this season.

Snoopy Loopy24

Every episode is so good, and your reaction to the series is just incredible

Oatmeal1504

What a happy season so far. I'm sure nothing could ruin this

Tailmon

The author of the original book tweeted today: "Savor it, Rudeus. How does happiness taste? Is it good? Don't worry, this will continue throughout season 3! I'm not lying, I'm telling you!" Do you think we should trust him, or is he just trolling us? 🤔

Sai

7:38 - Brah. I actually said this very same thing on reddit a while ago. I thought the idea of Lucy being a reincarnation would be funny and she'd be thinking how stupid Rudy looks making faces at her. Maybe in Patrick Stewart's voice. Luke, how can you really forget he is reincarnated when they MAKE IT A THING TO REMIND YOU EVERY TIME using his original voice in his head? Really. Aisha's Little Shop of Horrors. Feed me, Aisha!

zenting

23:35 - Roxy doing a Megumin

Neki

Both Rudy's sisters and Aisha's mom know of the Holy Relic. They mentioned it back when he reunited with them in S2.

Shock

that horse aint normal, its like the size of two horses.

patros36

Will you be watching aninews cut content for Mushoku as well? it adds a lot i think

Frentzy

This show is HELLA GOOD. I never watch slice of life but I always enjoy it in fantasy shows. It just feels better this version of slice of life than an anime that is 'pure' slice of life day 1.

ArtKi

Rudy may not work but he just hauled in $100,000,000 in treasure. 7m20s exact same face Paul made. Aisha can now manipulate THREE parents against each other to get what she wants. Horse shelter Recall 1x02 when Roxy did her big spell, cumulo-nimbus, and 99% killed the horse caravaggio. She was able to heal it. now, horses get a bomb shelter. 23m37s EXPLOSION!!

Alfred Chow

Only when you've lost something do you realize its true value. The happier you are today, the more painful the loss will be when that moment comes

They didn't get into it in the episode, but Sylphie had enough mana in reserve to give Lightning another chance. The problem is, had she given it another try she would have depleted her mana resesrves, and she can't allow herself to get in that state while she's still one of Ariel's bodyguards. Also, Roxy's face when Rudeus successfully completed Lightning - not quite melancholy or bitterness. She was extremely proud he picked it up so quickly, but also sadness because this spell, and thus being king-tier water mage, was the one thing she had on Rudeus as his master and as a mage. But Rudeus picking it up that quickly, while she's proud of him, once again is a slight kick to her ego and once again drives her inferiority complex when she compares herself to him.

jdoggivjc

And yes, the fact that Rudeus cast Lightning makes him a king-class water mage, just like he became a saint-class water mage at 5 years old when he cast Cumulonimbus. But do keep in mind that even though Stone Cannon is intermediate-class earth magic, the Stone Cannon that Badigadi took is one that he himself classified as equivalent to an emperor-class magic (keep in mind emperor-tier is one step shy of god-tier).

Peter Parker

Luke forgot what happened to the horse last time 😭😂

Rugo

"she's not the only one in term so maid", yeah but the other maid has known since basically the beginning of the show and never snitched haha

yuzu hibiki

dude's the apostle of hitogami

Laslow

those supper happy episode are stressing me out. when will shit go bad??

Saturndusk

I hope sometime you react to the greatest flawed character show: NANA

Hououin Kyouma

You love that character (Geese) Hehahahahahahahahahahahahahaha ROFL
