What the heck, when did I miss a Haikyuu stream!??! Thank goodness it got posted here.

Nikkelz

Last minute schedule change, As Luke was only able to do 1 stream this week he opted to do haikyuu

Yula

I soo love Kuro.

Spa7his

Will One Piece reactions be on patreon too? (plz say yes)

Thanny

46:30 In case your chat doesn't sort it out by the end. Tokyo gets two teams, which are the two that make it to the finals. The hosting city for the tournament gets an extra team slot. Since Tokyo is hosting, that means they get a third team. The two losing teams of the semi-finals play for that slot. So the winner of this match is guaranteed a nationals slot, while the loser has to play another game and win to go to nationals. The results of the finals don't affect who goes to nationals, but would probably affect the seeding at the nationals.

Nikkelz

Yes vods like all other streamed shows will hit patreon

Thanny

A shuck is a covering, like on a seed, or indeed an oyster. Saying "aw, shucks" is dismissing a statement as being worthless, as discarded shucks are. Today, it's essentially always used to modestly deflect a compliment as being unwarranted. In contrast, "well, shucks" expresses disappointment with something, essentially saying the outcome just experienced was worthless.

Tailmon

Why isn't Luke posting jobless reincarnation? The last episode aired almost a week ago. 😭

Krolliox

Those that have watched Haikyuu, how much more is there for Luke to finish it?

Avis Pakaya

Around 24 episodes + 1 movie

Nikkelz

double dropping on sunday, he was unable to record it last week

Astro G

Not sure if it gets answered but wanted to post it here before I forget, but i think the song you were thinking of around the 1:25:00 mark was from Honkai Star Rail: Hope is a thing with feathers by Robin. Also I usually just lurk but since im typing this anyway just gotta say I love your anime and tornado reactions! .. Just saw that it gets answered pretty much right away lol.

Krolliox

Damn, so about 2 months for him to finish.

Yea, those questions are actually pretty typical of those kinds of documentary type special programs in Japan. In particular, for interviews with kids/teens, they're going to ask simple questions or give simple observations to allow room for them to express themselves in a natural way. Like that was a simple observation they gave Tsukki (Cool desu ne). It wasn't given in a definitive way, it was just a little nudge that could allow him to say something like, "really? this is how i always am." or "um, not really. i'm just trying to think". In this case though, Tsukki was like "yea" lol. Or that question to Noya (what about dinner?) was something you'd ask your own kid if they decided to eat junk food before dinner. It allows Noya to explain his logic in eating something before getting home to eat dinner. This is also a kid that viewers aren't gonna know anything about so it could be a point of interest and also creates that nostalgia for viewers too. I've watched so many programs like that so none of it is a surprise or silly to me.

Season 4 is 25 episodes. Probably will be the same number of streams though, so not a big difference.

Dairenji

Awww, disappointed I couldn't see this one live. But Next Week are the episodes I'm more excited about anyway.

Man super brief request but you MUST watch the hbo miniseries: Chernobyl. I feel strongly the tragedy that happened at the Chernobyl nuclear plant is far yet misunderstood or even not known well by the general public. It’s worth learning about since it was a great contributor to the collapse of the USSR. And that it’s a lesson on the cost of lies. That show has enlightened millions to the disaster, and I think it’s very worth watching. Love your videos man

Technosage

hello how is it going

Dairenji

1:24:47 Food Wars I'm like 95% positive that's what you're humming there

Dairenji

1:25:56 Oh never mind...you're thinking of Honkai Star Rail ...But I swear what you were singing before that sounded so much like the Food Wars OST

Dairenji

1:54:05 I think you're confusing the Tokyo Prefecture Tournament (What you just watched) and Nationals, which are taking place in Tokyo. This Match was taking place at roughly the same time as the Season 3 Match.

Mia

1:18:45 Kuguri calling Lev's serve a chance ball is so funny to me. He most likely didn’t even mean it in a mean way, like his teammates would have. He is just so matter of fact and seemingly unbothered by anything, so he just said it the way he saw it, which kinda makes it even more insulting lol

Miss Malice

As an American English speaker, "shucks" is a word to indicate embarrassment. When the Nekoma libero responded to the compliment with "aw, shucks", he was being bashful and a little embarrassed at being complimented like that. It and also indicate embarrassment at being seen at failing something too, which is what people were talking about disappointment.
