Kai

We finally get to see best girlllll

Kai

Listen ever since he started watching mha I have been waiting to see his reaction to her 😭

BITBOI

The thing about the investigation and not saving Eri is like the hard choice you see often times with people stopping human trafficking is sometimes you have to temporarily let one go to save them all so letting her go temporarily allows to save her and more people in the end

Daniel Gonzalez

Luke understand the MHA fanbase itself is pretty divided however your fanbase is pretty good in steering you to content you'd like which is why we pushed this show it was somehow kinda tailor made for you

Vitero27

It’s so different when rewatching the show. What a great and impactful arc.

GhostZethAaa

"But All Might has no power anymore", that never stopped Deku in the past, you REALLY think that would stop All Might, the symbol of peace himself?

GhostZethAaa

From Mirio's pespective, they were in front of the young leader of the second biggest criminal organization in the country, he knows an average villain can not maintain a position like that. Even if he believed they could take Eri somewhere safe at the cost of their own lives, f'ing around with a monster like that in the middle of the street at broad daylight could have quickly devolved into a civilian massacre. That's why Nighteye did NOT scold Deku for wanting to do the right thing, he scolded him for thinking he was strong enough to pull it off. That is what makes the hole situation more painful for Deku. It would be easier to blame it on the investigation rather than on his lack of strength.

I love your reactions, Luke. Not only do I get to rewatch one of my favorite series with you and get a cool new perspective, other series I never got around to I can watch with you, like Re:Zero, and I'll be start Tanya after Re:Zero, then I'll get 86 another chance. So, thank you.

Just because All Might isn't going out to fight villians, doesn't mean the villians will stop coming to take him out.

Nikki C

I love All Might and Deku's relationship. Thinking back from the beginning when he told him he could be a hero, to this right here, to what's yet to come... it's beautiful 🥹

Shadow 55

It’s not just how beautiful and full of heart the anime has. The manga is LITERALLY peak artwork. It’s the best weekly artwork and paneling when presented in weekly manga chapter releases

Isa

This arc is scary and beautiful at the same time. Really shows all the sides of heroes interacting with villains

Sam Davis

This is only the beginning Luke!! Trust me its gonna blow you away

Holy Shot

Some sauce got lost in translation last episode: - The organization Chisaki is part of, is a former Yakuza clan, they are known entities to the police, so they keep their crimes low normally, like all other yakuza clans, but since the fall of All Might, the yakuza clans with high class organization and villains like Shie Hasseki are acting bolder. So leaving Eri was not at the time a permanent loss, since they already know and track the guys location and their hideout, and are one operation away from saving them, the only problem is probable cause for a warrant

LKCynric

I wish i had interpreted she going back with him like you did. I did not. This is where the series really got dark to me, the moment she got so scared she went with him. He's done? That never prevented him before. He's literally training in that scene. If something happens in front of him he's gonna jump in, that who he is and why he chose deku. Imagine hearing your hero tell you, you made him wanna keep living and moving forward! What a moment.

HavocOmegaS

If anyone is strong and heroic enough to overcome fate itself, it's All Might.

Tamus Heath

I wish I could post that GIF of Midoria rocking back and forth on his chair watching the screen; I'm gonna be doing that for several weeks now, I CANNOT WAIT FOR YOU TO SEE THIS ARC!!!!!!!!

Kenra

All Might just had the much of a significance to keep gory stuff like that from happening

Notora

this arc's gonna crush luke. but trust me dude it is absoloute fricking peak

It’s also rare in our world for people to have two horns. Roughly half the world has only one horn, and the other half has none at all. Luke, how many horns do you have? ^^

dartcp

Yeah, All Might doesn't have any power left, but he was an active hero for 30 years—and who knows for how much of that time he was the Number One hero everyone looked up to? Do you really think that if he’d been in that situation with Eri and Overhaul had attacked her, All Might would have just walked away—thinking, "Well, I don't have powers anymore"? Being a hero is likely second nature to him by now; even if he couldn't fight, he *would* fight—and, well, probably die.

Juan G.

For those who thought Deku/Luke was right to keep pushing Overhaul smh I understand the sentiment but you would be making the worst choice if you can't beat Overhaul. Eri pretty much saved Luke/Deku's life cuz he was about to get killed, Eri would have still gone with Overhaul and the investigation was ruined. Congratulations Luke/Deku you just made everything worse😅😅😅

Xudos

I feel like Luke would quite like the "Vigilantes" spin-off. IMO its better overall (manga reader here) than mainline MHA

xXSelenaXx

"There's no reason for All Might to face off against a Villain, he's done, he can't anymore" says the man who instantly forgot that All Might was in the process of an off-screen training montage as demonstrated by the scene itself, he's ready to die, he made his peace with it, but even more, he's still fighting, he's still here.

Vinnick

Good scene at the start. That kind of tension puts me in mind of the opening to Inglourious Basterds; not exactly the same, but similar levels of light conversation over a gaping pit of imminent violence.

Sian Richardson

Agreed. I hope he'll consider watching it after season 4 rather than at the very end.

Biostar

The newscaster guy actually does have 2 horns, one of them is just cut off. Apparently he did this because his horns would get in the way of presentations so he did it for the audience, which caused some controversy with pro-quirk human rights groups. There is an actually valid reason Nighteye doesn’t use his quirk for convenience like that but it’s up to you if you agree with it. But it does make sense for the character at least.
