About apothecaries diary, i think you lost views since everybody had already watched it 1-2 times recently. If you do weekly reactions on a popular anime, then ofc you get more views. If you watch it i will watch your reaction :)

I would have liked to see some older anime in the list. Evangelion, Serial Experiments Lain, Visions of Escaflowne, Revolutionary Girl Utena.

Demon Slayer isn't hated for having a basic story. It is hated because of how overhyped it is for how basic it is. Its babies first anime but gets praised as if its Aot, same can be said about solo-leveling. It is defined as "carried by animation" because if Ufotable wasn't animating it no one would care. Both Chainsawman and JJK have the same foundation as DS with great animation, but get way less "hate" because their story doesn't fall behind the animation.

I'm surprised that in FMA:B that Period (opening 4) is not even in the top 5, it's my favorite and I would easily place it next to Again.

Honestly i personally say if you can get a better experience and help on another platform. Then i would say leave twitch because it is just proven at this point just does not care. If you can get your channel settled. Then let the people who got their subs be able to use it. Just stop people from gifting new subs and make the move over. Also i watched all your apothecary diaries reactions on twitch. DO NOT TAKE THAT FROM ME!!!! I do not hate my hero the story quality started to fall for me. What i do hate is how people act like it is the best thing ever made in the history of anime. Demon slayer is nice but meh to me because i have read the ending. If they do a bleach and give it a better anime only ending it could be higher. But again like MHA a number of people make it out to be waay better than it is. Like it is the best thing ever made.

I think anime only's will be fine with Oshi no Ko's ending. The reason manga readers hated it, without spoilers, is that we built super high expectations for the ending, and built theories for what we thought was coming with each chapter. Anime only's have low expectations, and because of how anime is seasonal, you guys don't theory craft the same way we do. So decent odds you'll be fine with the ending and not understand the hate for it. Though I guess there's always the chance they change the ending, which might make it better or worse for everyone.

To explain the MHA hate without any spoilers, it's like the hate for SAO. Some choices people dislike, and instead of saying 'I didn't like this part' they just decide to hate on the entire thing. I could see you maybe disliking one or two of the things people dislike, but I could also see you being totally fine with all of it.

Of course this wont be true for everyone, just those that are more outspoken about their opinions. A lot of people watch it because they read the manga first- which notably doesn't have animation.

Demon Slayer is overhated for its popularity. Which is to say that its hate is almost entirely because it's popular and not for any other reason. It has a good, straightforward story, sure, but it's a solid story. People act like it's Twilight levels of story. or like you compared it to, Solo Leveling. Demon Slayer has more character and story development than Solo Leveling, and it's delusional to claim otherwise. People that hate on My Hero or Demon Slayer are just being contrarian.

Omg Luke, I would be soooo here for a FMAB rewatch. Like, I’m crazy excited about the idea. I rewatch it every other year myself. Maybe you could do the Japanese dub on a rewatch, its really excellent

That's what's great about anime, though. There's something for everyone. I, personally, hate JJK. I watched to the end of Season 2 and felt I completely wasted my time. I did not like the story or the characters, and the one character I did actually respect they killed off in a totally BS way that I still can't wrap my head around. But I like fun anime. Demon Slayer, Solo Leveling, Shangri-La Frontier, and a ton of smaller anime like Outcast Restaurant and Noble Reincarnation. So anime has something for everyone. It's too bad Luke doesn't get a chance to watch smaller anime. But I understand because it would not do well for views. But there's a lot of great stuff out there. Everyone has their tastes.
