Overhaul's quirk is disassemble and reassemble. When he blows someone up he just doesn't do the reassemble part after disassembling. Because he can reassemble near instantly there is likely a small window to revive someone he disassembles.

Twice says something he doesn't mean and something he does. It's the nature of his psychosis. Just assume the "date me" stuff is the lie. The point is, these scenes show the league has formed bonds. Just like they're hurt Magne died. You saw Shiggy change partially in s3 when he calmed things down after bakugou fought back. He's maturing. And Toga and Twice are broken souls, it means something to be trusted.

I hope Luke is able to appreciate the toga backstory when we get to it . Lots of people read it incorrectly the first time (including me, tbf). She benefits so much from a rewatch.

Probably the most interesting part of this arc is that it actually gets you to root for the League of Villains as well as the good guys. Basically, f*ck the yakuza is the moral of this story!

Overhaul's quirk allows him to disassemble and reassemble. So he can blow people up, then put them back together, alive again. But he can separate the two, so he can disassemble, but choose not to reassemble for e.g. So some he kills, stay dead, like Magna. This is how he continuously also uses up Eri's body for his quirk drugs. Poor girl.
