VAM ARCHIVE: SceneInputs v1 (Patreon)

This plugin is an example for other modders, to help with scene text inputs in VAM. People asked me about this in the past and I made VirtaInputs (text inputs in a plugin UI). Some people more recently want to do things that look nicer, like part of the scene, have players interact with the VAM world. For chatbot purposes too. So I'm releasing this in case it helps.

SceneInputs is a simple plugin that when added to a UIText Atom, it makes it editable directly in the VAM scene. It works in VR too and it should work with VAM's VR keyboard. When text changes, the plugin receives it and prints it as an example.

This can be used by anyone too as a note plugin, for scene text decorations that are easy to change without going through menus. And you can do very complex logic if you pair this with my old AETools plugins which are all built around VAM's text atom.
