This a new addon that brings to models the UI changes I've been showcasing recently. It's just an UI enhancement as it is now, so I named it AliveUI. It doesn't have life-like features, effects or animations on the person like Alive or AliveCore. It's just UI stuff to add more on top of other plugins. It works with AliveCore and it should work with other plugins as well.

TAB SYSTEM

One of the main features is that it organizes the Person UI buttons in a tab system and groups things together. This allows adding extra tabs, to extend in a way the vam person UI.

NEW PANELS

The hair colors panel you've already seen:

Besides that, I added two more panels. The eye color panel allows changing the eye colors quickly:

The Morphs Actions panel brings back a feature from the old Alive UI that someone asked about: a slider that lets you scale up or down all the morphs, fine-tune the model without having to modify multiple morphs manually.

There's also a few extra operations I added:
- reset - resets all morphs
- normalize - sets morphs to stay in the 0-1 interval in case they overshoot that range
- clean - removes morphs that have small values (smaller than 0.1) to keep the model with less morphs
- fade - this is a series of operations that scale down or fade the morphs towards the default vam model, but in a way that's proportional to the value of the morphs. This prevents the model from losing smaller details, like it happens if you use the first slider. So morphs scale down at different rates.

I added these with some other feature in mind that I hope to add here on this panel in the future: randomized heads & bodies, maybe a mix system of sorts to allow quickly mixing of some favorited faces and bodies. Some of these buttons will probably come in handy with that.

EFFECTS

There's also an Effects button for the plugins and an Alive button in the main UI buttons list, but for now they lead to an empty panel. This is work in progress. I'm trying to make the effects system a general thing that will work more like it did in the old AliveUI, to allow having effects like for gaze type or emotions.

HOW TO USE

  • Add AliveUI.cslist plugin on a person atom.
