Slide & Shuffle anything in VAM in 2 minutes or less (Patreon)

Since a VRGallery plugin is off the table for now I figured I'd throw in a very quick tutorial on how to achieve something like that on your own for those that were interested.  I think I got it down to be almost as easy and fast as possible in vam.

HOW

See video. Requires AEstudio & AETools. The functionality can be done with just AETools but you'll have to do the next/previous etc buttons yourself, in AEstudio I have a widget for that as a subscene that has everything setup already.

This actually works with  everything in vam that has is numbered in sequence. If you can get to trigger something in vam and in that trigger there's something numbered, (song69.mp3,  look69.jpg, outfit69.json, image69.jpg, preset69.vap, scene69.json, pose69.json, etc) then with this approach you can get a slider and randomizer functionality for no matter how many elements in 2 minutes. The dynamic number plugin also has support for padding so it works for stuff like song1.mp3, song01.mp3,  song001.mp3 etc with 0s as padding at the start.

TIP

In Windows you can quickly number files in sequence by selecting them all and renaming them. If you select multiple files and rename them together as "abc" windows will rename them as abc (1), abc (2) etc.

MORE FEATURES
At the core of it are the plugins from my Aeternum Tools package and the demos there offer more details on what's going on. You can use those plugins to make much more advanced widgets, with features like previews, pagination being possible.
