INFO

  • small plugin that automatically adds sounds on footsteps
  • It detects collisions with floor atoms (Slate, wood panel, reflective slate, reflective wood panel) for each foot
  • multiple sound profiles with randomized sounds for more realism, some profiles have 20-30 sounds
  • 3 triggers: for left foot step, right foot step and for any step
  •  each foot gets an audiosource atom named like PersonName.footsteps.left, you can customize there the volume & spatial sounds settings 
  • the sounds are added and removed automatically to the scene when changing sound profiles so you don't have to worry about that

This works! I tried in a number of scenes with success. Sometimes heels would not work as it was how the persons foot was, but I tried a non heel shoe and it worked fine. The person may have to be adjusted up/down or balanced so the feet hit the ground correctly, but does not take much effort. I even tried a scene where the person was doing a kind of tab dance and works very well. I will be using this in almost all my dancing scenes. I just adjust the music so it does not drown out the stepping sound. Another excellent plugin!
