It's been a very productive month and I'm extremely grateful for all the support that I received! I'm still in discovery-mode when it comes to VAM plugins but i'm starting to figure stuff out quicker now and I'm optimistic about the updates to come!

Next week
I'll do quality-of-life updates for Alive, make the sounds better and improve the overall experience as it could be so much better than it is now. There will be a few new features too.

Side project
I'll try to do a different update sometime soon for some other stuff that has been suggested and that I'd love to do and see more of in VAM too. Someone suggested a few weeks back a footsteps plugin and because of that I ended up making ExtraTriggers which added some new possibilities to VAM, Footsteps too, then all that functionality helped me make Ticklish and now to update Alive with touch detection. It pays off to take detours sometimes and to try different things and I'd love to take a shot at at least one of these.

So if you have any suggestions for stuff that you want to seen in VAM, attempted by others before or never done before, doesn't matter, send the suggestions my way either here or in DM and if I think I can get it done I'll add it to the list and I'll make a poll once there are like 8 or 10 of these.

Suggestions so far that will be in the poll:

Boat Driver
- game, relaxation
- drive a boat, relax and admire the girls on the beach or invite them to your boat!
- possible future upgrades: fishing, ferry missions, procedurally generated girls on the beach, take a ride & discover new vam models

Goalkeeper
- game, sport
- ball physics, throw it at a goal and a sexy goalkeeper will try to block it
- possible future upgrades: skills, train your players, have a championship against AI teams, sort of like handball penalties or maybe footbal/soccer

Kombat
- game, fight!
- follow in the steps of Oeshii's Zombie Fighter minigame; arcade fighter with custom keybindings
- possible future upgrades: go for the full mortal kombat experience, fighter management sim with fitness, diet, training

Mini Golf
- game, relaxation
- adult oriented mini-golf courses
- possibile future upgrades: make it like a framework to allow for courses to be made and shared easier; scoring and stats

Fashion Show Machine
- relaxation, tool
- random models, random clothing combinations and textures, you enjoy the catwalk and discover new models & clothing presets
- possible future upgrades: fashion show assistant - you set rules and the assistant creates the show around them, specific kinds of models, specific colors, themes, etc.

Emily x Demons
- game, horror!
- adult horror mini-game where you have to perform an exorcism while weird random stuff happens like scary sounds & voices, changing morphs & skin and Emily acting all demonic, each time the experience being a bit different
- possible future upgrades: lots of procedural stuff could be added to this for the experience to stay unique and to make you feel like there's a particular entity possessing poor Emily each time like a demon AI kind of thing, each time acting differently but not randomly, instead following a set of rules of their own (e.g. some demons would do weird voices, some would be always silent)
- awesome suggestion! Though... I'm a big horror fan myself and like to get creative.. I'd probably go for actual horror-horror 😱 not wankzVR-horror so I think I might cause some heart-attacks with it

Actually every idea sounds good. For the Fashion show Machine, even though you may have a lot of good looking models it might be fun to have a button for randomly "generated" models. All colors shapes and sizes. Is that what you mean by the fashion show assistant, where I can select a black slightly overweight MILF, and something will get "Generated"?

Fashion Show Machine sounds great! I also am very interested in procedurally generated models. One feature i didn't encounter in the wild for such a plugin: a new character based on the look of a father and morther character. Like take in account the facial features of the male and female to generate a new look.

that was suggested yes but I'm not sure that l'd do it exactly like that. I think it might be faster for me and better for everyone to do it with a template looks system. You feed it a few templates and it builds upon that. This way anyone could make any kind of templates for any possible purposes. I'd rather do something like that than hardcode specific options. but we'll see, that might not be very user friendly, i'll think about it a bit more

SPQRAeternum

I know what you mean! I had some experiments with that a few months back when I started making plugins, I was going for something big like that with Aeternum, it's in some older videos. It is possible and not very difficult, and it's still very much on my radar and something i want to get done and release someday The way I did it in my tests was with genetic codes. A person was defined by a string of characters like a DNA code. You could feed it any random genetic code and it would turn it into a VaM model. To mix and create offsprings of some models is extremely simple with this approach, it's just a matter of mixing the genomes like AAAA + BBBB = AABA and adding some occasional mutations (AABC) to keep things more natural. It worked though only for those features that have vanilla morphs on both females and males. It would be very difficult to do it with composite morphs afaik. But features would be automatically 'carried' in the genome and passed down to next generations and that's nice, e.g. F has feature > M doen't have feature > F has feature

thank you! I've received a ton of support by vam standards and I'm very grateful for it, it motivates me to aim high and to try to make a great virtual GF experience in VAM and ultimately the best experience out there

I had noticed some one uploaded XPS models as assets (I think), some crazy ones too, like monsters and other even animated stuff (that eats my GPU). Also, there is a plugin for importing XPS models, but the bones have to be assigned and blah blah blah to pose or even crappy animation. I know this is asking maybe the impossible. But would it be possible to write a plugin, the can take a XPS structure and generate a vam person , even if not exact, if it was anything in its likeness at all, would be interesting for sure.

SPQRAeternum

but you'll have the same problem with bones probably. there's no easy conversion to vam models, i don't think it's possible to automatically translate stuff like that

SPQRAeternum

now that i think about it there is a way I think I might kind of do it but it would be something much bigger, if that would work I don't think you'd care about xps models lol. Something like foto2vam. I thought about doing something like that and give it a try at better similarity, I have some ideas on how to do it and technically it should work

I was wondering if in AE Studio you can code it so when I change poses the clothing automatically resets the simulation. As it is now I get the clothing all setup to remove and it works great. Then I change pose and it all falls off. Maybe I am doing it wrong. But I fooled with the setting and could never get it to sit right after the pose change. Now I have have to manually reset the simulation for the clothes to work the way I want. Is there something I am missing???

SPQRAeternum

I'm not sure I understand. For me when the pose changes vam automatically resets the physics and the clothes reset to their initial position already. Maybe you're setting them too large and they just fall off in some poses? you can try increasing Undress Treshold, increasing Friction & Drag, decreasing Weight etc.

thomas d

Yep I tried all that. And usually if it is clothing that can be pulled off I just need to make sure its checked for sim and undress and set the threshold. I really don't change anything but I did try. I guess it just bangs so hard in place going to the new pose, it knocks it off completely or some. IDK. Then I click the reset simulation under the clothing physics, the big red button and it goes perfectly into place, and I can easily remove the clothing by hand. I just wish I did not have to do that step.

SPQRAeternum

you can reset the physics with triggers automatically in vam and even delay them 1. add a Button with LogicBricks Delay & OhMyButtons on it 2. to the button's Delay triggers add: - Person > atom control > enable collision > off - Person > atom control > enable collision > on and set the delay to like 500ms or a 1s 3. On the button trigger you add a trigger to button > plugins#delay > Trigger Test the button and make sure it refreshes the clothes or recheck the steps 4. on the pose widgets, on the top right text atom's dynamictrigger plugin add a trigger to Button > plugin#ohmybuttons > Action > trigger (or something like that, don't remember the name exactly) there's no code to AEStudio so I'll probably not start doing any anytime soon to make it easier, sorry, it's just vam + other plugins
