Small plugin I made a while ago that makes sticking objects to characters hands a bit easier and more intuitive. No plugin ui and options. There's more i'd like to do with it but I don't think i'll get to do it very soon, other plugins are higher priority, so releasing it as it is in case some find it helpful or want to build on top of it.

INSTRUCTIONS

- add InventoryPerson.cslist to a Person
- add InventoryGrabbable.cslist to objects that you want to be grabbable

when the hands of that person collide with such an object it will change the link of that object to the hand. When you take that object away (drag it a bit) the connection will be reset and the person will no longer hold it

I gave this a shot, as I try just about anything interesting on VAM. I put a handgun in a dancers hand and overall worked very well! If the gun hit the other hand it would sometimes move to the other hand. I do have two questions. I noticed some assets even with collision checked on still don't have collision. Why is that and can I make it have collision? Just wondering, I know that is not part of your plugin. The other thing was should I be able to have two different assets attached to two different hands (or have the plugin on multiple objects at the same time). It did not work for me. no big deal, just wondering. I probably won't use this plugin much but good to know its there, if I did want to use it.

the missing collision thing is just how the assets are made/exported. i don't think you can do anything in vam (unless you're willing to hide vam atoms inside of them to sort of fill them). creators have to include something like collision meshes with the assets you should be able to use multiple objects, you just have to add Grabbable to each of them. https://vimeo.com/724135251

Ok thanks, it was probably something I was doing or happening on my end.
