ABOUT

Happy Friday! The reason I started playing with FPS controls a few days ago was actually related to a big feature I had in mind for Alive, being able to detect differences in height in the scene to allow floor height support for models.

When teleporting the model the flag-cursor will now try to detect the height at which you are pointing and will move the model at that height. My greater general purpose with this is to allow model interaction with the scene. Basic stuff like 'go lay down in bed', 'sit on that' ,or 'walk on that platform' are virtually non existant in vam, you have to DIY every time or customize it for each particular scenario. This feature will allow to add those sort of command that will work in any scenario.

But a cool by-product of this already is multi-floor experiences which are now a bit easier and actually practical, especially in VR. On desktop this will work much better with the FPS controls, that will allow 'taking' the model with you up the stairs to a different floor for example.

CHANGELOG v17

- fixed repositioned model main controller on initial load: when model was high above the ground the controller was detached from the model and moved to the ground at height 0
- added height level detection and support for the teleport system
- added support to play moan sounds through triggers, they're random and their intensity is based on the arousal level
- added fix for internal collision causing arousal to triger when model moving fast (like twerk)
- fixed arousal increasing too fast by default on autoride

Hello! Please tell me, in the latest versions of the plugin, touching and slapping a character with the right mouse button only works from a certain angle, namely when the player is above the character, and then not always. This is especially true for the character's head. Is this done on purpose or is it just me?

SPQRAeternum

Not on purpose, it's a bug. I found the problem and will include a fix for it in the next release if you want to fix it until then you can edit this file in the .var Alive\Scripts\Components\Alive\Alive.cs and replace Plane plane = new Plane(Vector3.up, 0); with Plane plane = new Plane(SuperController.singleton.MonitorCenterCamera.transform.forward, 0f); and it should be better you might have to do a hard-reset after you save the file, VAM caches the .var so the change won't work immediately

I have not had a chance to try this yet, but I did download it, and glanced at the guide. I will definitely read through it.
