NEWS: Patreon double charging & messages down (Patreon)

UPDATE 10/6/2022

All back to normal! If you were double-charged you should be refunded, if not just let Patreon know.

PAYMENTS

So it seems Patreon is having some trouble with payments this week. Sometimes they double charge patrons. More info on the issue here:

MY ADVICE TO NEW USERS
Don't subscribe until they fix this

IF YOU'VE ALREADY BEEN DOUBLE-CHARGED
There have been no reports & it seems creators can't see it in their accounts so I can't tell, but if you were double-charged these days I think the likely outcome will be that Patreon will refund the extra payments once they fix it. God help the poor dev that messed that up 🙏

MESSAGES

Patreon messages are down. Probably all the messaging going on regarding the payments... They don't send notification emails for messages either. I can see that I have some messages but I can't see what they are and can't answer to them until they fix it. More info:

They'll probably fix it soon but you can DM me on the hub or on twitter too if you have any questions regarding my content or vam in general
