WIP: Akarana City (Patreon)

I wanted to post this yesterday but patreon was having some problems. After the test map I gave it a go at a somewhat more proper map and things moved along surprisingly smoothly!

I know many people will not like the cartoony look in vam and consider it a blasphemy but:

this little city so far - 14mb! The ceiling I have for it is like 500mb up to 1gb so it's gonna get a bit crazy. I'm not a fan of cartoony aesthetics in games neither but for this it's worth the trade, to get both performance & this kind of complexity. And it's actually starting to grow on me, particularly in VR it's quite cozy.

The plan at the moment is to incorporate this in Waifu ex Machina, add a bit of life to it, npcs, maybe AI cars, environment noises, day-night cycle. And then have vam models run around and do silly things around the city's point of interest, similar to Artificial Girl 3. I'll add something like portals/doors to allow entering interiors which will be other vam scenes. That's the plan for now at least!
