I posted the new plugin on the vam hub along with a few examples:

Plugin: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/vam-widgets.28557/
Scene with examples: https://hub.virtamate.com/resources/vam-widgets-examples.28559/

I removed the previous textbox because it was limiting the code length and it was also very difficult to use. But I replaced it with something much better: DevTools. This was something already included in VAM as part of the Chromium browser, I just figured out how to enable it.

HOW TO USE

-  Add the plugin to a WebPanel atom (or WebPanelEmissive - it's the same except that the lights/shadows don't affect its colors)
- you can make something in a .html file, test it in your normal browser and when you're done just copy the code in clipboard and hit the Paste button in the plugin
- the code will be saved inside the plugin along with that atom in the scene. You can also save it as a preset for the atom

I attached "examples htmls.zip" with a few quick examples I made for the videos & the scene.  Some I didn't use, like rss.html, as I tried to keep it offline stuff only. But it works with online widgets like that too.

MORE WIDGETS

I don't plan on making too many widgets for now. I'm focused on the Alive UI and trying to make that as cool & clean as possible. This I made & shared mostly to help the community and other creators. But I'll probably end up doing quite a bunch of these too as they're easy to make and share and they can add a lot to vam scenes.

VR

For VR it's best to turn off this setting for stuff where you want to drag the mouse:

I forgot to do that for the drawing & the game widgets in the demo scene, will update it later. Without it, in VR clicks will be like bursts. If you disable it, in VR it should work like the mouse on desktop, allowing you to drag or hold the click on things.

LATER UPDATE
- fixed the issue above
- reuploaded vamwidgetsdemo
- added license info on the Andromeda Invaders game both in the html code & the examples zip (https://github.com/susam/invaders)
