PLUGIN UPDATE: Alive v32 (files) (Patreon)
Content
This update includes the first experimental release of my new UI system. I only recommend it to people curious to see how this is progressing, I wouldn't use it for general purposes yet as it might have bugs.
Alive itself works the same as before, the new UI is a separate script inside the var. You can ignore the new UI if you want to.
If you encounter any issues or you have any suggestions, let me know!
HOW IT WORKS
- Alive.cslist - works the same, this is the plugin that you add to a person
- Aeternum.cslist [optional] - you can add this as a session plugin and the new UI should appear
On desktop, F2 toggles the UI on and off. There's also a button for that in the normal vam UI of the plugin.
In VR you'll have to pick a hand the first time running it (from the normal vam plugin menu, you can click load preset left or right) and adjust the position to your liking.

The VR watch has two buttons: the first toggles the UI on/off. The second snaps the UI back to the hand. If you move the UI by dragging it around, it will unsnap from the hand:

APPS
The apps included are quick experimental things for now and should see a lot of changes soon so I wouldn't get too attached to them but here's how they work now:
Music - you can create folders in Saves/AEmusic. After you run the UI the first time it will create a "Demo" folder there with the demo songs included. You can copy that folder structure and make your own playlists
Settings - a few experimental settings. I included the stuff I always used myself as session plugins: a framerate limiter (similar I think to MacGruber's framelimiter but likely not as good as that one), a physics limiter (similar to SPQRPerformance), a VAM master volume, etc.
Some apps are character apps, and they will appear only when a character is selected.
Character - when clicking on the bottom circle button you'll go to a characters lists (all models with Alive in the scene). You can select a character by clicking on their avatar. From this menu you can also remove or add new characters to the scene.
When a character (person atom with Alive) is selected, the characters apps will also appear in the list.
Clothes - list of local clothes presets - there's a known bug with colors/customization not always loading completely the first time if it has big textures, requires clicking a second time
Hair - list of local hair presets & first test with altering colors with the new UI
Posing - has only a quick test for hand posing for now, I plan to add here posing options for the whole body
