This is a quick look at the work in progress for the effects system for Alive, as well as some new features for the character system.

ALIVE CHARACTERS

In Alive v52 characters (previously named as androids) will have their own bodies too. In their profile there's an Update tab where their information & settings can be changed, as well as saving their looks. Characters will have their own individual settings like voice settings and more options.

To distinguish between basic vam looks and characters, In the bottom bar the Alive characters will have an avatar while the generic looks will have a generic avatar:

EFFECTS SYSTEM

Active effects on the models will now appear in the bottom bar:

It's possible to cancel individual effects or all effects directly from there, like in the video.

Sorry another comment. I really like the auto modeling idea and it does work, the problem I have is even at the lowest setting, movement is too much. I try putting in something like .03 and it takes only 1. Is there a way balance it better so at the lower setting, you can see movement, but not like the hands shooting up way above her head, or I if have head or chest selected they popup unrealistically. I have no idea what is involved with calibrating the movement so there is a lot less, or if it is even possible, but hey I have got to ask, as it is a good feature and I would like to use it more. I know it behaves different depending on the pose, but I think all around it would work better with smaller movement being available. Thanks.

Those min & max duration are for how long the model will hold that pose, they're not related to motion speed. I'll try to add something for motion speed too.

it is the amount of movement, I am most concerned with, like a low setting, for example hands and arms will only move a few inches with a low setting. That way the movement is not too outrageous.

If I recall correctly, the Auto Modeling section is essentially cycling between ALL the poses for whatever you have selected - so, all the Standing Poses, or all the Kneeling poses, etc. It's not really (at this point) a random 'idle motion' feature, from what I've seen testing it out, as it only has two 'variables' - how quickly to take the new pose, and then how long to hold the pose for.
