Oh wow we're going old school today! Here for it. 👍

Brian McG

Oh shit, you're watching one I actually haven't seen before. Sweet!

Usually love watching oldies, but I think I’m going to sit these out, it’s just hard to watch a reaction to them because I start to lose interest pretty quickly, I much rather watch them by myself

Aldo Gonzales

Thank you guys so much for checking this out. I know this seems like a random movie to request, but there’s a reason I picked this one. Anyway, about this movie. Joey may be fascinated by guns, but he doesn’t yet have the level of maturity to understand that the bullets fired don’t discriminate between friend and foe. No matter who fires them, they hurt everyone. Shane understands that much. Like he said, there’s no walking back from such a deed. He did what he did so that Joey wouldn’t have to. As he gets older he’ll understand.

Why do people keep voting old movies so much better ones

I wouldn’t have picked this movie if it weren’t significant for what lies ahead… You’ll find out soon enough.

Even without an ulterior motive exposing them to movies that are important to cinema history is part of the deal....and this qualifies. 🙂

That it's not an unreasonable choice even if you weren't trying to make a connection later. This is one of the giants of this particular movie genre.

@Aldo I finally understand what you were saying about one of your monthly picks being tied to an upcoming reaction. I completely forgot about the Shane connection. Can’t wait to see if they pick up on it when the time comes 😉

I love the diverse range of films we watch on this channel. It also is great because Shoshanna and Vince are gaining so much extra wisdom and such from watching diverse movies. Love films. Love Shane.

Mitchell Smilie

Not one of my favorites, but I always love to see people checking out the classics. I hope this inspires you to check out more westerns. It's a rich genre.
