Eduardo

Which karate kid???

Simon

Grown ups!!

kevin

Come on everyone please pick scary movie !

Tommy

Cmon let them finish pirates

tony

really hoping for the maze runner 🙏🏾

Joel Cardenas

they should do the jaden smith karate kid

Ryan

Need Kick-Ass soon!

David

Regardless of what wins I think some time in the future you should do a poll on which franchise you guys started that you should get back into. Lot of good ones

Christian

bruh this is like the 3rd time how to train your dragon done made the list. PLEASE HAVE IT WIN!!!!!

Rigo

Step up🔥🔥🔥🔥 cmon

Jacob

my vote is with pirates🙏 not a big fan of scary movie personally but breaking bad is good enough for me right now, good luck all

John F.

Easy choice for me. How to Train Your Dragon trilogy.

Prince Zay

Nooo not scary movie pleasee😒

Prince Zay

Some movies just ain’t worth a reaction & if u don’t know all the movies they relate to it takes away from it too, maybe 1 scary movie but to watch all of em? cmon yall I can’t be the only one that thinks this

Aldo Gonzales

Man I really thought Rocky was gonna win this time. Next time we have to get it to win.

SavageDiplomat

Vince if Scary movie wins you need to at least watch the first Scream movie before watching Scary Movie. The scary movie franchise is a parody of a lot of horror movies. It wont make sense if you dont have at least some basic knowledge of the films thats referenced. Scream 1 is the bare minimum.

Sickly

Next time put Beetlejuice in there 🥲

Jamie

Hopefully yous have saw scream before surely yous have tho it’s such a classic these are all good but yous will love scary movie thanks for taking my recommendation

John

whatt??? toy story didnt make it?

Yami Gandhi

you gotta watch scream 1 before scary movie to actually understand what it's referencing‼️‼️

Jamie

VOTE SCARY MOVIE OR YOUR SCARED

RESISTINGMONKEY

No hated, but this community really loves comedy movies. I feel like that's all you guys recommend

C. J. Ramirez

Damn grown ups, how to train your dragon , and scary movie damn a tough ask😭😭😭

Brian Marroquín

If Scary Movie wins it would be fun if they watch all the movies Scary movie is making fun of, but they watched Deadpool before MCU and XMEN so...

Prince Zay

Jurassic park Maze runner Dune Pirates John wick Transformers MCU Star Wars Sacario It Harry Potter Aliens Predator Terminator What else am I missing?

Tom Tattershall

How is Back to the Future in last place (as I write this)? Back to the Future is the best movie trilogy of all time. The original Star Wars trilogy (Ep. 4-6) is a close 2nd best.

Ryan Donaldson

So many good choices here I’m personally voting for the rocky movies ( don’t think it’ll win) hopefully one day it wins a vote

Mitchell Smilie

I believe in democracy, but weep for how stupid it can be....

Flick Freaks

Come on people. They need to see Rocky

Jacob

Scary movie 1-3 are goated

MON$YT$AM3232

You can't do a scary movie series until you watch scream series, it piggy backs off scream 1

Prince Zay
>>137573752

Na I’ve been following them for about a year now I just kno what they haven’t finished

sarCC

Definitely Rocky...has the most genuinely good movies.

Jamie
>>137573281

They’ve probably saw it lol who hasn’t seen scream pretty sure they would’ve done it by now

MON$YT$AM3232
>>137576614

It is a classic but it ain't the best classic, come on you can't be bias when voting lol jk

Jamie
>>137571746

So what’s bad about it? It’s literally known for being one of if not the best parodies

Dc Jerome

The karate kid …so we can get to cobra kai

MON$YT$AM3232
>>137576296

Obviously they haven't seen a lot of movies in that decade based on the pole voting 🙄

Prince Zay
>>137571746

It’s the only parody franchise ever ofc it’ll be called the best there’s no other parodies with more than 1 movie.Don’t get me wrong I’m not sayin there bad movies but when you’re comparing them to classics like back to the future and pirates & rocky it doesn’t compare

Yami Gandhi
>>137573281

well I hadn't seen scream until this year tbh. turns out it's one of my fav series. and they haven't seen a lot of movies ppl normally have seen. so idk

dabbingcannasseur

So, have they seen all the movies that Scary Movie mocks? Scream and I Know What You Did Last Summer being the big ones, but theres at least ~8 other movies that get referenced in this one and they won't have the context for any of them. Sure, theres stuff that would still make them laugh but whats the point of having them react to parody movies if they have no idea whats being parodied haha?

Quan
>>137571746

True cause I want them to finish pirates really bad

Quan

We need a poll of movies series they need to finish. Cause scary movie winning over these classics is crazy 🤦🏽‍♂️

Quan
>>137573752

I just said the same thing. It’s many move series they need to finish and they keep getting overshadowed

Jamie
>>137578513

They’ve probably saw scream and that’s all they need lol

Jamie
>>137578985

Scary movie and grown ups are the only good ones here compared to them

Tia

At some point I think it’d be cool to have a poll specifically for animated stuff, so they can watch classics like shrek and toy story. I’d love for them to see those

Drip Drop

IT HAS TO BE SCARY MOVIE

Seth Moore

Too many classics in the same poll

kevin

all i gotta say is it’s too lit

Dakori Robinson

Scary movie is a classic, but I would hope they understand the references made since it is a parody film lol

Zac Cochrane

Scary movie franchise requires lots of other movies to enjoy the parody

Mike

Really scary movie 🤦‍♂️

Magnatempus

Maybe people are voting for Scary Movie because they want to see them not understand the jokes at all. Might be amusing. But those movies are so dated. Idk. I voted for Back to the Future. Timeless.

Kernaisha Gaines

Did they decide to not do genre based polls? This feels like a very random mish mash which seems to cause a lot of negative discourse in the comments

Caleb

come on guys they wont get the references, httyd or potc alot better

John
>>137602223

it would be like that even if it were the same genre considering most people don’t read before they suggest movies.

Kernaisha Gaines
>>137602223

Idk it just doesn’t seem like a conducive set up and it seems to make it harder. I think they need a mod to take the most like suggestions and make sure they’re within the genre the poll is based on because this poll is all over

bnut
>>137603612

Scary Movie is the only thing on this list worth even watching.

bnut
>>137598693

You mean BY FAR the only good choice on the list? Yea, that one.

bnut
>>137599732

Well that's incorrect. Most people are voting for Scary Movie because it's by far the best choice on this list. Back to the Future is obscenely boring.

bnut
>>137575358

Well so far democracy has picked literally the only good option on this list so it's working flawlessly.

bnut
>>137576441

You absolutely can watch it without seeing Scream. Most people who've seen it never saw Scream.

bnut
>>137578513

Most people who saw Scary Movie never saw Scream. Really not required to enjoy it.

bnut
>>137578985

Scary Movie is the only good option on this list. The rest are insanely boring.

bnut
>>137596800

Not really. Most people who've seen it never saw Scream.

bnut
>>137573281

No you don't. Most people who've seen Scary Movie never saw Scream.

Zac Cochrane
>>137596800

Scream isn't the only thing that's made fun of. Out of the 5 movies, they've had plenty of other movies they are based around 😅

Tripp

Scary Movie 1-3 are hilarious, but after that…they may need genre voting because this is a weird mix. Rocky does not belong in a poll with scary movie.

Alliee

Sucks that a movie that's trans/homophobic as fuck is winning rn :/ Seeing how you guys seem to be fairly accepting of queer people from some previous reactions, I would've hoped that a movie like "Scary Movie" wouldn't make it on this poll. It basically portrays queer people with all the very hurtful and disproven stereotypes the same way black people were falsely portrayed back in the day...

imperial

Comedy wins AGAIN for the 8th time in a row :( Really hope those genre polls come back so we can get a little variety.

Michael Wolper

There were literally 4 movies I wanted to pick lol

Prince Zay

I hate to sound like I’m complaining because Ik Vince n Shona really give they all in trying to satisfy everybody, & this community has grown so much lately that it’s hard to really satisfy everyone. I think we should all let them pick out of the 8 most liked and see how that turns out because too many people want different things and I get we go with the majority but if the majority is less than a quarter of the community what bout the other 75%. If something doesn’t get voted 50% or higher we should leave it up to them to choose. Does anybody agree??

Tia
>>137573752

calling all of those boring compared to scary movie has got to be the most crazy take of 2024

Jamie
>>137608800

What r u 10 either everything’s a joke or nothing can be a joke it doesn’t do it in any offensive way it does it as comedic it rips on everything u can’t pick and choose what’s too far

Alliee
>>137608800

You can most definitely say what goes too far if you're able to form opinions based on both empathy and rationality. If you put any piece of media out to the world which you know will be seen by millions of people, you have a certain moral duty to uphold and need to ask yourself if a joke that portrays arguably one of the most marginalized groups of people in a way that will most likely act as a way to enforce peoples horrible world views which are based on misinformation and lead to discrimination, is worth telling. I myself very much enjoy dark humor, yet I can still differentiate between actual humor and so called "jokes" that basically just punch down on those already fucked by society and only appeal to the ones who punch down on others aswell... I hope you never have to experience the way we're treated in society and portrayed in media, cause it really fucking hurts. (At least then you'd understand my point of view though.)

GrammaGhost

I thought the themed polls was the way to go. Again I’ll watch anything you guys put out but I’m getting a little tired of comedy and animation.

Tommy
>>137608800

Dude cmon I’m Mexican and when a comedian does a joke about my race I laugh cause it’s a JOKE. Quit being a soy boy

Alliee
>>137608800

I don't think you understand my argument. I'm a trans person and I can also laugh at jokes about trans people. The thing is that often times the whole punchline of trans jokes is just about our existence. I've seen plenty of comedians or comedy shows/movies that managed to include trans people in jokes WITHOUT the joke simply being "haha look at those weirdos, aren't they so weird?". That's like the lowest form of "comedy" out there. I bet the mexican jokes you laugh at aren't of the same kind. Also, "soy boy" already tells me everything about your level of immaturity...

Alliee
>>137608800

Saying "Who cares, it's a movie" when we're talking about a movie that enforces the disproven stereotype of trans people being pedo predators is wild. Any somewhat intelligent person would know that media shapes peoples world views and this is the same way bullies who take a kids belongings and throw it around say "relax, we're just playing/having some fun" or people who get death threats online being told "chill, it's just a couple of pixels dude". You need to understand that all of those things aren't as simple as "it's just this or that" but that there's actual human beings behind all of that.

Theo Sebuliba
>>137608800

My guy, it’s the wayans brothers they legit make fun of everyone in their movies, that’s they’re type of comedy and mostly everyone likes it, plus it’s a movie from 2000, it’s going to have jokes like that

Alliee
>>137608800

Just because something is from another time where something might've been more common, doesn't make it inherently morally correct. I think we can both think of horrible things that happened in the past where it was seen as "normal". Did that make it okay?

Theo Sebuliba
>>137608800

I’m not sure what the problem you have with scary movie, but you can just choose to skip it if it’s hurtful to you because I know that there’s some jokes that are pretty dated, nobody is forcing you to watch it, I’m just saying that the wayans bros have always done comedy like that since the 90s and the majority of people do like it, it’s not for everybody though

Alliee
>>137608800

Yeah I probably won't watch it. I totally understand that the wayans brothers do that kind of comedy. My only point is that you can make jokes about certain groups of people without just punching down on them. It just takes a bit more intelligence to write comedy like that which is what makes good comedy *good* in my opinion.

Mark

I love scary movie. But I do think we should try the Genre polls again because comedy has been winning a lot. Plus with the large percentage of choices its not really an accurate portrayal of what the community wants. But obviously I support Vince and Shoshanna with whatever they want to watch. I like everything. Just some more than others.

Mark
>>137608800

Every race and sexuality is lampoon to hell. Trans people included. White chicks isn't an accurate portrayal of all white people but I laughed my ass off because that's the point of comedy. It's meant to be a tad offensive. Pick your battles on what you want censored. Powers that be love to abuse feelings like you have to silence speech.

Alliee
>>137608800

The difference is that white people aren't discriminated against on any systemic basis in our society compared to people with different races or sexualities/identities, so I doubt that there will be any genuine harm done to anybody who watches "white chicks". I'm not sure what that last sentence of yours means but if you're saying that i'm "silencing speech" i'm kind of confused since i'm pretty sure you're still able to voice your opinions right? Freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequences and criticism.

GrammaGhost

@Perfect Mix I would suggest you guys find a Mod or someone who can help structure your polls, weekly and monthly schedule. I think you are doing a great job but you are starting to get large enough that you probably need to have someone streamline all of this for you. Just a thought.

The Ghoul

watch reactions you like. don't watch those you don't. I have never enjoyed scary movie so i won't watch that reaction. 2 cents. I hope everyone can let that be enough

Alliee
>>137608800

I think as a psychologist, soon to be teacher and someone who informes herself on sociopolitical topics, i'm educated enough to talk about this. I never said that trans people and black people are being treated the same in such a generalized way like you did (english is not my main language so maybe I phrased it wrong but I'm sure I was clear enough) I said that trans people are being portrayed in media in a hurtful way (harmful stereotypes, etc.) the same way black people were portrayed as all the terrible things I don't want to list here back in the day. I'm not exactly comparing the two, i'm using the false portrayal of black people to explain the concept of why false portrayal of marginalized people in media is wrong. Since nowadays racism is one of the types of discrimination where most people agree that it is objectively wrong, I use it as an example for the concept i'm explaining to make it easier for people to resonate with my standpoint. Where in western society are white people discriminated the same way queer people are today? (And I hope you understand that discrimination doesn't just mean that there's certain discriminatory laws, but can also refer to purely societal/cultural views, just in case you want to hit me with the typical "name one right that queer people don't have")

Mark
>>137608800

Not everyone agrees with your assessment of this situation. There is a much larger world out there outside of school and mainstream institutions that get by just fine. Most of us in the workforce including many trans people i work with don't think like you do.

Marco

EVERYONE PLZ VOTE FOR PIRATES. I’ve been waiting for yall to finish that franchise lmao

Alliee
>>137608800

I was replying to someone who told me to educate myself, that's why I mentioned my credentials. What's insane is how you basically just tried to tell me what i've been doing my whole life without knowing me at all. I probably have more life experience than most people. I've grown up poor, had to deal with all kinds of abuse and discrimimation throughout my whole life, was homeless for a good while, etc. I was lucky enough to be born in a country where education and health services are free/very affordable so I was able to build a decent life from basically nothing through meeting all kinds of people and working my way up. So I'm very much familiar with the "real world" which is what lead me to my job and try to help others who have been in similar situations.

Jamie

When will scary movie release?

Trey

Maybe shouldn’t have picked scary movie if they haven’t seen scream yet

David

It’s a sad day when the best series on here is tied for last

F l y

Yall did maze runner, I would be awesome if yall can retake the series and finish them, Scorched trials and the cure are both great movies and the end gives a lot of clousure

Drip Drop
>>137608800

This is why society is where it is. Back then people could take a joke. It's satire relax.. And please tell me HOW THIS MOVIE IS HOMOPHOBIC/TRANS AT ALL.

Magnatempus
>>137599732

Best choice on this list??? I've seen all the Scary Movies, in theater. Loved them! Understood the references because I'm my age lol. If you think Back to the Future is boring, ok.

Mike
>>137598693

Be real 🤣 10 years ago yes it’s fire now common

Andrew Ramos
>>137645309

That's good advice for YouTube viewers. But paying subscribers have a right to at the very least voice their opinion.

Andrew Ramos
>>137576614

Strange to end chastise someone for their opinion and then add "lol jk" to the end of it. Own your words. Speak with conviction or don't say it at all.

Andrew Ramos
>>137571962

Agreed. They're mindless movies. Of the thousands of amazing movies out there, their Patreon has them watching scary movies... it's going to be a long ride for them..

Tommy

Ik it’s criminal

Tommy
>>137598693

Your choice in films must suck then if you thing scary movie is the best thing on this list

Quan
>>137578985

All of them are and we’re most likely obviously all above 13 🥴

Daniel Kapity

As the saying goes always a bridesmaid for movie picks. It's sad to me because the 3 tied for 10 percent some of my all time movie series. Each one is a beautiful emotional life lesson teaching ride. I just hope they win someday because I know you'll love and appreciate them too.

The Ghoul
>>137645309

You have every right to say what you do and don’t like. But after that personally I am satisfied with I don’t like scary movie and I won’t be watching. I watch for breaking bad. X men movies etc. The Boys is also fun to vicariously enjoy. My point is they are purely wonderful people. I vote for what I want and hope eventually it’s the show/ movie I like.

AJ Franklin

Rocky lost again 😭 my heart cant take it

AJ Franklin
>>137578513

@skz That is not true. Most people only watched scary movie because of the fact that it’s a parody of scream, Scream was the center of pop culture in the early 2000s.

Joeyz

i dont get the scary movie pick yall wont get the references

Mike

Hitmans bodyguard

Bamboozler09
>>137636514

Usually anything handling mature themes and is objectively good will lose to poop jokes

Szn Rustic

pirates of the carribean is the best choice

Daniel Kapity

Rocky, how to train your dragon, and the karate kid series are not only some of my favorite of all time, but all are emotional, heartfelt life lesson teaching rides. I truly hope with all my heart that they win someday. I know if you give them a shot you will love and appreciate them.
