Theo Sebuliba

Hey guys the wrong thumbnail is on the video

Theo Sebuliba

Yo Vince I love your reactions, but you really gotta pay attention to the dialogue sometimes, it feels like you’re overreacting a little bit, just a suggestion because I can barely hear the characters talking thanks

Daniel Ward

Vince might have the best energy ive ever seen in a reactor. Contagious.

Sean Carroll

Gus's friend was actually his boyfriend, they were not brothers

Tori

Vice, you don’t need to change anything about your reactions

Yess... Cuban B

"I'm sure if you keep digging, you'll find me." Gus saying that to Hank was wild. Like... WTF!? 🤯🤯🤯 And Saul interacting with Andrea's son, Brock, was sending me 😂🤣😭💀

Tim Martin

Max was the one after whom Gus’ scholarships were named. “Maximino Arciniega - a dear friend of mine who died too young”

Ravi

The reaction to the GPS tracker scene was just too good.

Terry

Just a clarification not a spoiler to anything but it is cannon that Gus is gay and him and Max were lovers

Simon

Lmaoo that’s the best part of these reactions, their reactions. A lot of people not here for the shows we’re here for them 😂

Simon

Love waking up n seeing a banger

Tia

Pretty sure Max and Gus were lovers. That’s why Hector said the “they like what they see” line

Justin

Gus originally accepted Walt's request to work with Jesse because Walt told him "he's my partner & I trust him". He knew what it felt like to lose a trusted partner. A loophole of mine in this episode is that Gus doesn't address Walt by his name at Los Pollos when he's with the bug- even though Hank, the rest of Walt's family and some of the dea already know of their relationship. Also Hank is being extremely inconsiderate to Walt by planting the bug & getting him involved with a high level drug dealer. It could come back to hurt Walt or his family

Terry

It’s not a spoiler to talk about Gus and Max since Gus’s sexuality is never brought up in the show and their relationship isn’t really again it’s just interesting back round details about the character that would be the most appropriate to reveal at this episode

Simon

Great ass reaction this episode is so damn good

Mark

If you dig into Chilean history it's heavily implied Gus was a member of the Chilean aristocracy or military. With or against Pinochet (dictator of Chile for some time) I think his Partner Max could cook good meth I think the Cartel was just short sighted and didn't see the investment in meth (like Max said Meth did indeed become a huge drug of the future.)

Theo Sebuliba

Remember the flashback takes place in 1989 when cocaine was the main drug for the cartel shows how long Gus has been in the drug game

Terry

Vince Gilligan did confirm it and and it’s not a spoiler BCS just has a scene once again implying it that’s not a revaluation of anything or a surprising moment to a plot point. If anything it’s more of a spoiler implying Gus has a part in BCS

Terry

I don’t think they’ll like BCS anyways it’s slower than Breaking Bad with a lot more “build up” episodes and scenes than BB and they started to feel BB was getting too slow at the start of the season

Kyle

They weren’t actual brothers, they were very clearly two different races lmao they were just called the chicken brothers. Great reaction tho

Tia

Well they did think things were slow at the beginning of this season sooo there’s no telling if they’ll like the first couple seasons of BCS lol Edit : I didn’t read Terry’s reply before I commented this 😂 i just repeated the same thing

Thaddeus Winterson

I think his brother was the "friend" he told the DEA he named the scholarship (which Gale won) after. Just being different races doesn't mean you can't be brothers. Maybe they had different mothers or fathers, etc. Or even just random genetics, which in real life can produce twins who appear to be completely different ethnicities, depending on their ancestry.

Mr. Reggie

No, it wasn't. Where is the proof they were having sex? This was never mentioned in Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul. Stop spoiling it.

Martin

Terry, Vince Gilligan didn't confirm Gus' sexuality until after BB had finished airing. Information is given later in Breaking Bad to help people draw or confirm their conclusions about Gus' relationship with Max. Please let them figure things out on their own. It's fine to point out things they literally didn't see or hear in the episode, but I think it's premature to be pointing out things that were confirmed after the show.

Martin

The fact that you are responding to this comment means you know it is you who is spoiling things.

DKThunder

Speculative or definiteve characteristics are a spoiler if the showwriter revealed it after the series ended, and the reactor did not get to the series end yet. I get folks want to share information, and people get frustrated when reactors get something incorrect, but people also like figuring these things out on their own (successfully or not). Turns out, a lot of people dont like unprompted guidance.

Terry

It does not spoil any plot point to anything on the show it doesn’t ruin anything in their viewing experience if anything it improves it having more knowledge about the character that they wouldn’t find out about unless they did research after the show. Like an Easter egg

Justin

JESSE!

Justin Cross

I wish we could share pics on patreon... I have a framed signed photo of Gus from the Actor (Giancarlo Esposito) hanging on my wall to the left of my PC I watch these episodes from. Met and spoke to him at a Comic con.

Martin

Do not give information from LATER episodes or interviews. It's simple. Everyone else understands except you. We understand YOU think it's fine, but this channel is not about YOU. We are all telling you that you are making things worse. Stop arguing and be a part of the team!

Martin

Terry

There are literally other people in this chat saying the same thing about Gus

Martin

Do you agree that it's bad to give information from later episodes or interviews?

Terry

Not if it doesn’t spoil anything if it’s like an Easter egg like to pay attention to the colors and that has meaning to characters and situations

Martin

An Easter egg is information hidden INSIDE a show. You are revealing information about the character that the show has not confirmed yet. It is intentionally ambiguous because part of enjoying the show is thinking about these things. Why would you want to explain things to them, using information that was only given *after the show had ended*?

Martin

It explains information about Gus, Gus is in the show. There is more ambiguity about his relationship. You have ruined that.

Terry

No part of any future episode has been ruined by knowing Gus is gay, knowing more about Gus knowing interesting Easter eggs that they would never be able to find out just from the show, informing them at this point of the show makes it better.

Terry

Like when people told them Walt started cutting the crust after killing Crazy Eight, you apparently think they should do their own research to find that out when they have a fan base that can just inform them right away at the appropriate time in the show without ruining any future part of the show.

SV1976

Anyone with gaydar could tell that Max and Gus were a couple. No spoiler, just pretty obvious if you listen and pay attention.

RabidMango

The writers room to this point was very split on the subject. Announcing it this clearly and this early on is kind of a spoiler. Vince Gilligan and his writers had not decided his sexuality or partners to a certainty at this point. Vince said this in an interview with Chris Hardwick. Not saying you haven't watched the show and seen but no matter how hard you listen and pay attention, the writers at this point had not decided and were years away from making a decision.
