Aegon bringing his son to the council meeting is him being a little snot but theres also some sad undertones behind it. Because Viserys ignored him and never let him join council meetings he was determined to be a good dad and give his son what he didnt have. (Hes an idiot and doesnt know how to rule so the son showing up wasnt tactful, but it was sentimental) Insane introduction and end for the child at the end.

I feel like you guys are a little too impatient with the story. This is still just the beginning of season 2 and season 4 will be the series finale. Season 1 was kinda to show the many years until our characters grew up, with a couple banger battles here and there, and from season 2 on it’s just this one war until the end. I’d rather see each plot slowly developing with a couple battle episodes here and there than having it being a rushed mess like Game of Thrones seasons 7 and 8 😅

Couple things. 1. Ya'll are saying you don't understand why they killed Jaeherys (the baby boy), the title of the episode is called "A son for a son", it's about getting revenge/payback for killing one of Rhaenyra's sons. Also, if you remember the rat catcher asked Daemon "what happens if we can't find the prince Aemond?" and then Daemon jus smirks and then it cuts to another scene, this implies that Daemon didn't care WHICH son was killed, just as long as they killed a son. Obviously Prince Aemond was the main target, but as usual, Daemon's intentions are murky, and he toes the line between good and evil. He HATES the Hightowers with a burning passion, and views them all equally as threats and responsible for murdering Luke and Usurping the throne. 2. Shoshanna idk why you're saying Queen Halaena "just GAVE her son up" what was she supposed to do lmao?? they said if she doesn't cooperate hell murder ALL of them, both her kids AND her. She literally had no choice and was basically being held at gunpoint. 3. "Where's all the guards?" idk if you saw but obviously at the beginning and the end of the episode Criston Cole has been having a secret affair with Alicent, he's the lord commander in charge of all the guards, he PURPOSELY DISMISSED ALL THE GAURDS that night so no one would catch him and Alicent having sex. 4. PLEASE PUT RESPECT ON PRINCES RHAENYS NAME!! y'all keep mispronouncing it, its not "Rhaenyras" its "Rhaenys" pronounced like "Rain-niece" please before the season ends get her name right lmfaooo I love y'all! 😂❤️
