This backstory is definitely canon, i believe the timeline has this episode about 5-10 years before the events of episode 1. So eren was either a baby or a little child. also if we look at the timeline like that it would seem doubtful that levi and mikasa are siblings, however they may potentially be cousins. Yeah Erwin is also my favourite character

Glad yall reacted to this! Future episodes of AOT will give you guys more info on the Ackerman bloodline. Definitely in bits and pieces though so make sure to pay attention to the little things! Every detail matters in this show lol. Can't wait for the next episodes!

Yea it’s the same thing Levi said to Eren during the female Titan arc. Also wanna point outthere’s a lot of similarities between Isabel and Eren

Drai

Mikasa already had a actual family before being adopted. We don’t know the mom’s last name but in the backstory we hear Eren’s dad call her dad “Mr. Ackerman”

Ironic lowkey cause it’s usually Ackerman’s doing the stabbing/slashing

Ackerman's require a traumatic event to awaken their powers, as we saw when Mikasa Ackerman experienced the death of her parents before her eyes. It's possible that her father never experienced something this major, and therefore never was able to fight back against those sex traffickers.

I don’t think it has to be just a traumatic event. Spoiler for S4 “Record show their power awakens when their survival instinct is triggered” There’s actually a couple of times we see that in the show

If you know this is a spoiler for season 4 why would you type it and risk them reading the comment :$

I love how Erwin lowered himself to Levi's level and kneeled in the mud in front of him to show him he isn't what he thinks he is. He showed Levi respect when he wasn't expecting it. No matter what scene erwin is in you always get the sense he is playing his card exactly as he intents to.
