Yes, they did episodes 7,8, and 9 in addition to the 1, 2, 3 prequels. There's also some standalone movies - Solo is the backstory of Han. Rogue One takes place right before episode 4. And there are TV series on Disney+: The Mandalorian, Boba Fett, and Andor (all great!) Enjoyed watching you react to the OG trilogy. It's what sets you on your course. May the Force be with you!

Good reaction to an amazing trilogy! You guys definitely need to react to the prequels. That’s what I grew up on and they are good, especially Episode 3 Revenge of the Sith! It’s absolutely the best Star Wars film out of all of them. It’s such a sad,epic,intense, any emotion you can think of, that movie has it.

the prequels add such an important story of how the Empire came to power. they also have the best lightsaber fights out of all the Star Wars projects. Episode 3 is a lot of people’s personal favorite!

Fun fact. The Rancor, the first big, scary monster we see in Jabba's palace under the floor, was voiced by a Dachshund. A wiener dog. Sound designer Ben Burtt had a elderly neighbor if I remember correctly who owned it. It was the angriest dog he'd ever seen. They recorded it's growls and barks and then pitched it down and slowed it way, way down for the monster. I think it's hilarious that such a big and terrifying creature was voiced by a very angry, very pissed off furry hotdog.

Another fun fact. This was the first movie to have a differently colored lightsaber. Until this movie, we've only seen red and blue. As I recall, the change was for practicality on behalf of the vfx team. I believe they had a hard time keying out the blue saber with the bright blue sky or something like that. In any case, this is the movie that first introduced lightsabers using other primary colors. You'll see even more variety in the prequels. In particular, purple. Can't wait to see your reaction when that one appears. ;-)

Finally got around to watching this with you all, loved the reaction! I had the special edition box set of this original trilogy that I still have today. I watched the movies so much that the box is frayed, they're the best. The prequels, the sequels, and all the shows are also amazing and I hope you at least watch the prequels! Congrats on 30k, you both deserve SO MUCH MORE!

The sequels don't exist 👍 Watch 1, 2, and 3 though for sure. Episode 3 is right next to Episode 5 in how fuckin good it is

Nah, half of the dialogue in the prequels is absolute trash. I love the prequels, especially episode 3, and they 100% need to react to them, but good lord it's dialogue is like pulling fingernails. I can handle the winding, nonsense story of the sequels, but not the prequels dialogue.
