This is one of my favourite Marvel movies from the visuals to the soundtrack, setting and tone Taika Waititi did an amazing job. Oddly has a very 1980s feel to it mostly because off the amazing Synth soundtrack something I've listened to known stop. The Hulk part of this story is loosely based on the Planet Hulk comic where the Illuminati decide that Hulk was too dangerous to remain on Earth after Hulk lost control and attack Las Vegas. They tricked Hulk into entering orbit to destroy a rogue satellite, and then used a shuttle to jettison him from the solar system. They intended for him to land on a peaceful planet, but the shuttle passes through a wormhole on its way with his shuttle crash landing on the planet Sakaar the same Sakaar you see in Thor Ragnarok. I was never a big fan of the first two Thor films but this one was a nice surprise pulling heavily from the more cosmic Thor comics and just embracing the over the top wackiness that is the early Thor comics. Thor Ragnarok is in my Top 10 MCU films so it's always a fun watch and this is when Marvel started to introduce a much wider range of tones to their films and later shows. Will admit they have created a formula that alot of future films follow so I'd like for them to venture out more beyond that MCU formula.

Ok you guys are spoiling us at this point 😁 it’s much appreciated, can’t wait to watch!

Chriis Josiiah

Yeah I thought hulk was just bruce at one point but they are like two completely different people. Hulk is a being in itself

Rashad Walker

Disagree a bit on your assessment of having to bring in other avengers to a solo film...it doesn't have to be all the time unless the story calls for it but it shouldn't be shoehorned In. I also thought the first Thor was solid not great...the dark world wasn't good though

EdEddandEddy_

Hela is one hundred percent the most powerful villain we’ve seen thus far

MachhJuann

Nah they’re right on this. It’s how a lot of the comics are as well. It’s an interconnected universe. Marvel characters cross paths all the time it doesn’t always have to be the end of the universe for them to meet up.

Alex

This movie is just amazing. Definitely my top 5 MCU movies

Rashad Walker

If u go up to my statement above I said " it doesn't have to be all the time" I didn't say that don't have the be in a movie at all.

dabbingcannasseur

Spidey and Thor on back to back days? Fuck yes. Oh, and it's funny you called the guy playing Thor in the play a 'WalMart Thor', because the actor is Chris Hemsworth's *older brother Luke haha.

YoureMrLebowski

i love how animated you two get watching these mcu movies. it's The Perfect Mix of movie and reactor.

Lifehouse

A funfact you might've not realized.. Cate Blanchett, who plays Hela.. is also Lady Galadriel from LOTR.

Mark

Anthony Hopkins (odin) was Hannibal Lecter in Silence of the lambs. I won't lie I was heartbroken when that one didn't record. He is a very respected actor.

ANOTHER MCU UPLOAD?! IS IT MY BIRTHDAY OR SOMETHIN?! HUGE W

@23:00 Kate Blanchet (Hela) walking out of that portal in her late 50's looking hotter than a lot of 30 year olds.

I'm SO EXCITED for these next few weeks BLACK PANTHER, INFINITY WAR!!!!! ANTMAN AND THE WASP, CAPTAN MARVEL, ENDGAME!!! some are better than others but these 5 movies and even what comes after is why I'm so EXCITED to see people go through the MCU journey. These next SIX movies and even the shows beyond is what I LOVE! even my boyfriend who doesn't care much for marvel loves from here on out. It's so much fun and I'm so excited for you 2 wonderful people to join us in the HYPE

Joseph

More team-up movies would be amazing. Unfortunately the Marvel machine is stuck on one setting: give every hero a solo trilogy. They will probably never move away from that generic formula even though a lot of these solo movies suck. We did not need 3 AntMan movies; we did not need a 4th Thor movie; we didn’t even need 3 Iron Man movies. Iron Man was always better when he had other Avengers around him.

dabbingcannasseur

Even further confirms the 'WalMart Thor' line lmfao... poor Luke, hardly anyone even knows he exists loll.

Joe Deluca

You guys are almost to the greatest MCU film ever...Infinity War. You have no idea what your in for. Its a masterpiece!!

matthew

this and guardians of the galaxy are my fave infinity war and endgame are a whole other level though super hyped for those

MotoDork

If you think this was phenomenal, just wait until Infinity War and Endgame

EsdLegend

Thor is actually extremely strong physically and would clap Hulk in a fight as he was in this film. He tends to go easy on him but he would beat him

SavageDiplomat

Even though i disagree with saying that the first 2 Thors were boring since the first in particular was a film more focused on character introduction / development. I do agree that this Thor had some better elements in certain respects. Great reaction guys as always.

Miracle Comics

Thor 4 was bad yes and eternals was cool but unnecessary but there is nothing wrong with the other movies. Marvel’s storyline requires both the other solo and team up films together. It’s not generic. Plus they added mini series for other characters so the majority of it works

Miracle Comics

Glad you like Thor 3 I just wanted to know Vince and Shosanna what pacifically didn’t you like Thor 1 and 2? Details.

Anthony Jackson

Ive always felt both stories could have been better. No emotional connection to most of the characters for me. Seen all in theaters, still enjoy them to this day but if we wanna compare to other MCU, im not surprised they are on their "mid" list
