I havent even watched the reaction yet but I have to say the sequel is a must watch. Some general trivia being it was the first movie to make over a billion dollars in cinemas after covid. Definitely an exceptionally worthy sequel. Your reactions are awesome regardless guys. Keep up the great work.

ElDoritos97

Sorry , I know you guys are still a few movies and series away from "Godzilla vs Kong" but in that film , between timemarks 59:50 and 1:01:23 there is some Titans that are basically like giant snakes with wings. So, save this info for that movie. And for those who doesnt know, apparently shoshana has Ophidiophobia (fear of snakes) or Herpetophobia (fear of reptiles, and yes, there are a few reptiles out there very snake look alike in general)

Raden

Just a good ole fun movie with one of the most iconic movie soundtracks.

Erwin Quiachon

The sequel is important because it corrects the way the generation depicted in Top Gun should be remembered. Top Gun was made to be a popular date movie that would also serve as a very effective recruiting tool with cooperation from the U.S. Navy. Unfortunately, the generation depicted in Top Gun would experience an unholy amount of real life combat, PTSD, and high suicide rates over the next 35 years after it was made. The sequel does a fine job of making peace with how that generation should be remembered by mainstream audiences.

Love this movie but I think I’m one of the few people who didn’t enjoy the sequel. Thought they tried to hard to recreate the magic of the first one and couldn’t pull it off.

Theo Sebuliba

That’s cool, I actually like the sequel way better than this one even though I think both films are very good

Jordan Tamminga

The co-pilot or WSO (weapons system officer) is in charge of the communications, navigation, and radar

David Crabtree

Great reaction! I adore this movie. I do agree though, I didn't buy into the relationship subplot, I don't think the two had very good on-screen chemistry. Now that being said, Top Gun: Maverick is a must watch! Probably my favorite movie-watching experience in the past 20 years!

Mark

You recognize Michael Ironside from Starship Troopers. And yes Tom Cruise is absolutely an incredible actor. Not just another pretty face on the screen. BTW Shoshanna your very observant. As a young man Tom Cruise teeth were completely jacked up. He had them completely reconstructed after he became an actor. Thus the large teeth.

LeSteeler

Top Gun: Maverick is one of the greatest sequels ever and it came out last year, u guys have to see it

Simon

I hate tom cruise , Ill never watch any of his movies sorry guys 😭❤️

MochanAmazing

Gotta watch Top Gun Maverick too.

I thought it was PERFECT, especially during a moment when the country needed the jolt of patriotism than ever before.

Joe Deluca

Top Gun: Maverick is soooooo dope! Way more intense and the camera work is insane obviously. Saw it in IMAX and was epic. The seats vibrated in the theater from the jets.

Top Gun Maverick A MUST SEE!!

SavageDiplomat

Since you requested an October horror recommendation i have to give it to Smile. That is one of the best horror films ive seen in years.

There wasnt anything actually wrong with his teeth but when you compare them with modern Tom Cruise teeth yes the modern cosmetic dental surgery version is better overall.

unlit_ssunn

Horror suggestions for the Halloween month: Houses October Built, Hell House LLC -- the latter is probably one of the finest horrorflicks from the last decade or so.

When Vince said an aircraft carrier was a mile long...I SPAT OUT MY COFFEE!! 😲🤣

Jo-El Brown

Better buckle up for Top Gun Maverick. Ya'll will rewarded for watching this one when you see the sequel. A masterful improvement of the original.

imperial

You guys also watched The Last Samurai with Tom Cruise; but I agree you should watch more of his movies. He’s a fantastic actor. I recommend Rain Man, Edge of Tomorrow, Minority Report, A Few Good Men, Vanilla Sky, Valkyrie, Jerry Maguire, Risky Business. And it’s inevitable - you guys HAVE to watch the Mission Impossible movies eventually. Might as well start now! :)

Oscar C

oh man Maverick shits on this movie. its so good!

What about Ridley Scotts "Legend"? The ONLY Tom Cruise fantasy movie that was excellent!

David Crabtree

Horror movie picks for Halloween season: Scream, Paranormal Activity, Monster Squad, Jeepers Creepers

Kevin Matthew

This is one of those awesome cheesy 80s movies but top gun maverick is better. Can't wait for your reaction to that. Tom Cruise has so many good movies. A few good men and the last samurai are 2 other favorites of mine

All See’er

Ahh the good old days. When you could follow a woman into the bathroom and keep on hitting on her and they loved it 😂😂😂

Caleb

Its rare when a sequal is better than the original, and you guys have loved this. Top gun maverick is somehow so much better than the first in every way, your gonna love it

Kevin

Also I believe you guys seen last samarai with Tom cruise

fire12wife

This video stops and won't play after 1:38:40. It cuts off the last 10 minutes of the movie! Is there a way I can download this so I can watch it at work? I don't have internet out in the field and would love to watch on my lunch break! Thanks in advance! Excited for Top Gun: Maverick! You guys are great! Love your reactions!!!!

All See’er

I used to run around the house with my brother and we’d throw balled up socks or tennis balls at each other like missiles quoting the lines and making jet noises in like 1992. I was born in ‘86

The Dingo

The guy in the backseat isn't a copilot - he's a radio intercept officer. He doesn't fly the jet; he handles communications, radar, and navigation.
