Pseudobulbar affect (PBA) - neurological condition that causes uncontrollable laughter and crying

Mark

Ya Joaquin studied pseudobulbar videos to perform

Panthersrule 95

Her name in Deadpool was Domino but she is very lucky lol

imperial

The Joker sequel just finished filming a few months ago. Lady Gaga is playing Harley Quinn (Joker’s longtime girlfriend and partner in crime in the comics). Should be interesting! You guys should watch The Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey to see Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. She is phenomenal in that role.

Flick Freaks

Pseudobulbar Affect is a real life condition that people really do suffer from. This movie is wild.

SavageDiplomat

Joaquin Phoenix won an Oscar for his portrayal of Joker in this. Top tier reaction as always guys. Keep those reviews 100% raw and authentic. Dont sugar coat anything. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Nicholas Obici

Ironic how Thomas Wayne talks about “cowards hiding behind a mask” when his son eventually goes on to become a masked vigilante

Simon

YESS, I freaking love you guys

Simon

Heath ledger will always be my favorite joker, but joaquin Phoenix is freaking phenomenal in this movie

Simon

Yes guys, uncontrolled laughter like that is a real thing. I forget the medical term but that is a real thing.

Daniel Kapity

Hey you 2 love the reaction. I love this film myself,so I checked comments first to see what was addressed. First thing this movie isn't related to the dcu. This is a stand alone film, even the director said so prior to release. This film was based on the book/graphic novel the killing joke. I also heard that Mr ledger used it as inspiration for his portrayal of the joker in dark knight. The director said this isn't a comic book style movie. This movie is a honest brutal realistic portrayal of mental illness and how society can treat them. It also shows how important social services to those who truly need them are.

Simon

That scene where joker punches the clock when he “clocks out” was improvised by Joaquin

Daniel Kapity

Also another thing I heard is that this was one of the few times the music was composed before the movie was done. Usually the show the completed movie to the composer to make the music. I heard that the music was made after reading the scripted before it was filmed or finished not to sure which. You 2 said it yourselves disturbing slightly traumatized uncomfortable which everyone who has seen this movie has said about it. Which is the point, you are watching a human beings desent into true madness.

Michael Santiago

This was filmed in my Borough of the Bronx NY .. both train scene, where he killed all 3 men and when he caused the riot when the detectives were chasing him .. and that outside stair case became a major tourist attraction when the movie dropped

Simon

No joker and Batman aren’t related in comics , this movie got its own story but it’s so good lol. All the tragedy joker has to face before he’s joker is cannon to all jokers but the relationship thing isn’t

Bo1and

Joker's backstory is almost always never known so this one having one is interesting

Simon

Such a great movie and such a great reaction just finished ! A lot of people were disturbed by this movie 😂 like it makes you feel for the joker and it makes you not know how to feel 😂

Joe Deluca

Joker never has a defined origin. Always a mystery in the comics/movies, as well as his identity. He's been Joe Chill, Arthur Fleck, Jack Napier...the list goes on. But in every universe he's always the Clown Prince of crime. I love this origin, its relatable and quite disturbing. Part 2 coming soon.

Mrvideotape

The new perfect mix combined score comes out to 8.3 pretty good. A bit high for me. Imdb has it at 8.4 Movie hits a lot of heavy social issues mental health, child abuse income inequality. Is the kind of movies that stays with you for few days

Trismegistus

You should call it the Ranger Rating and rate it out of 5 Power Rangers

Steven Warner

First time I’ve seen yall have opposite reactions was the miniature golf joke 😂😂😂

Bo1and

Joaquin won a well deserved Oscar for this…the movie won other Oscars like for the score, etc.

Chase

Great reaction you guys should def react to DC suicide squad and BOP movies. The more villain side of the universe!

Miguel Hernandez

The score is brilliant. Sad but chilling and terrifying at the same time.

Bo1and

If I were u guys I would just label it "DC" and not "DCU"...bc James Gunn is starting his new DC universe called the DCU next year, and the movies in that category on your page are not in that universe obviously...Joker is in its own Elseworld universe and the Snyderverse movies are in the DCEU...it might be confusing if the terminology is new to you but mostly everyone eventually gets it

Simon

After seeing the trailer for number 2 I been wanting to watch this so bad so I said might as well come here 😂🔥

Tara L

I've got Pseudobulbar Affect because of a needle phobia from childhood trauma. It thankfully only happens during intravenous blood tests. I go into shock, have flashbacks, hyperventilate and then can briefly giggle at random, when it's over I cry. The giggling can confuse nurses though because it's the complete opposite emotion to the shock, hyperventilating and crying that comes after. Compared to the movie mine is mild, which says alot about how much the character must have been through as a kid.

Kino

They really wanted to humanize the mystery of the joker, I just wish they explored a joker character that really shows you why he can go toe to toe with the batman, and the rest of the dc universe for that matter. But for a solo joker movie this was phenomenal.
