Comments

JESSEMLR1

Good way to start the morning! Ghidorah is one of the only few that can rival the King!

Jarick Richardson

Epic movie when are y’all gonna a watch X-men: the last Stand

alex96

Very excited for this one

Justin Cross

So fun fact guys! Idk if you are familiar with the card game Magic the Gathering... But they did a colab with the owners of the rights to Godzilla, and there are some pretty neat Godzilla cards you can collect of each monster you see in this film and others!

ElDoritos97

Guys, if you haven't recorded your reaction to GvK yet, be careful, between the timemark 59:45 and 1:01:25 , there are some titans that are basically like giant flying cobras.

Mark

You know the asian actress Zhang Ziyi from Rush Hour 2 and crouching tiger.

Jonny

A 6.5??? Thats a little harsh. Lol but I understand. Personally would give this an 8 because of the reasons you said. The human element was not done right in my book. They should have just woken up for some other reason. But for the action and the visual effects its an 8 for me. Nevertheless great reaction guys and start Loki soon. Lol we are waiting

MotoDork

How about reacting to some cinema classics? I suggest either 2001: A Space Odyssey or my all-time favorite, Lawrence of Arabia.

Jo-el Brown

Full disclosure when I first watched this movie when it came out the whole mama drama plot didn't work for me and damn near almost ruined the movie for me, in fact the the whole human character elements in this movie was not great either, what saved it though was watching this in IMAX. Just viewing the sheer spectacle of this movie on such massive screen and booming surround sound was glorious, so in short I enjoyed the experience way more than I liked the overall movie. Glad you guys enjoyed it though.

Simon

Hell yesss!!! Zilla vs Kong next !

Simon

Personally I don’t like Millie Bobby brown , she has grown into a stuck up asshole 😂 i do not like people like that. Loved stranger things tho you guys should check that out

Simon

Y’all know Alan (Charles dance is his real name) as Tywin Lanaster from game of thrones , I just edited this you guys figured it out on your own !😂

MJB

I think the problem with the film is that we don't understand what the monsters say and so making a 2 hour film with just monsters fighting without us being able to understand why would be a big problem. So that's why there are humans who interfere to make us understand who is against who and why through dialogue. but it's true that the madness with the family there was a bit boring. ( It's just my opinion)

Arnold

I just wanna say I appreciate how much content y'all put out and the speed at which you do. I always have something to watch and y'all are great reactors as well. Thank you! <3

Andhy thomas

i think the humans are there to substitute for the monster speech as in because they dont speak we need to understand them so the humans kind of give us info about ect idk if that makes sense

titanus creature44

I'm so hyped to see your reactions to godzilla vs kong

Simon

Just finished such a great reaction as always! I gotta say this is probably the worst one because of the trilogy , I agreee Vince the story was a little off but the moster fights and the visuals were amazing.

John smith

Yall know ya gotta do pacific rim

West Beast

great reaction! still waiting for you guys to react to Aquaman! looking foward to seeing it.

Manjiro Sano

yall gotta watch the butterfly effect one of my favorite movies of all time

Mark

For the record there are crazy people in this world that have the same beliefs about humans and depopulation.

There is a old Godzilla movie where the monsters have speech bubbles. It's....terrible lol

Kong: Skull Island remains my favorite in the Monsterverse because it has the best-written human storyline and the best cast of actors. That goes a long way. Frankly, every scene in the next film with humans makes me want to throw myself into an active volcano. Unfortunately, as others have commented here, there has to be some human storyline to provide some context to the more casual movie fan. There are also some egregious story ideas presented in the next film that were difficult for me to overlook, and I consider myself easy to please when it comes to movies. But, at the end of the day, we watch these movies to enjoy the spectacle of monsters fighting each other. And the next film probably has the best fight scenes of any of these movies. There is a new Monsterverse streaming show coming to Apple TV (whatever it's called) starring Kurt Russell and his son, Wyatt (John Walker in the Falcon/Winter Soldier). I think a trailer for it just dropped in fact. I hope once you've finished the Monsterverse films, you will consider at least watching the original King Kong (1933) and the original Japanese version of Godzilla, Gojira (1954) (there's an American version that was released in 1956 that is inferior to the Japanese version). These two films are not only classic in that they introduced these two characters, but are also extremely well-made films on their own terms. The effects are obviously dated to a modern audience, but worth a viewing for anyone who cares about the history of these characters and cinema itself. And I recently watched your Planet of the Apes reactions. I do hope you will at least watch the original Planet of the Apes (1968) (there were four sequels, but only the first one is considered a bonafide classic). In my opinion, the two greatest science fiction films ever made were released in the same year: Planet of the Apes and 2001: A Space Odyssey. I hope you can check them out at some point.

Sophie

I just wanna say i love the vibes you guys bring, such a joy watching your reactions. Also fun fact, when mothra leaves the waterfall the guy at that post is the same guy from Skull Island! Just older since skull island is set in the 70s. So imagine how much Kong has grown…👀 Who’s team are you guys on? Godzilla or Kong 😏 I’m personally a godzilla girly but i feel like you both might be on Kong’s side!

Giraldo Alberteris

Dang yall missed the news end credits scene showing the aftermath of the events of the movie. It showed a cave painting of kong and godzilla fighting. Great reaction btw!

The Amazing Webhead

Good reaction! This movie was basically my favorite of this universe so far because it felt like classic Godzilla to fans who love all the classic films and Easter eggs like the oxygen destroyer & Godzilla’s classic theme playing when he got resurrected. Mothra, Rodan, & King Ghidorah are all iconic characters from the classic Japanese films. Ghidorah is basically always Godzilla’s Joker/nemesis. Mothra & Rodan are often friends/enemies to Godzilla depending on the timeline it’s set in. Mothra is always a good monster and second most popular monster in Japan next to Godzilla which is why they dubbed her and him king & queen. They been shipped too which is why we got that line of them having a thing. Lol

Matt rasp

I’m a huge Godzilla fan, and just realize that it makes no sense for the military to be disembarking a helicopter as if they were making sure terrorist or something were there when Godzilla and Ghidorah are just slugging it out infront of them

Yeah very true. It's the same with Godzilla Vs Kong as well. The whole human participation ruined it. Especially that little girl from stranger things

Simon

Bruh I can hate on whatever actor I want too💀 it’s my opinion about a actor don’t worry about it

ParsivalXP

I think it was perfect blend of human and monsters honestly. I'd rather then incorporate the humans and understand how she can use the orca to draw gidorah away and the effect the humans play into it then just abunch of monsters fighting on screen for 2 hours

Jason Murillo

I love the monster action in this movie but the human plotline is pretty laughable at times.

Millie is not stuck up. She’s grown up to be quite the young adult. I’ve seen nothing stuck up about her. She had issues at her younger age when doing interviews because she’d interrupt her costars but she was still a kid. why do you think she’s stuck up?

Morgan

Fun fact: now that you guys have watched stranger things, if you ever go back and watch this you’ll notice that the guy Madison’s mom Dr. Emma Russell is talking to in the beginning at the outpost his name is “Tim” is the teacher Mr. Clark from stranger things.

Jalen Crisp

I just realized, the guy with the white hair (Dr. Stanton) is the father in Get Out. The one who would've voted for Obama for a third term lol.
