Dominic Delacruz

This movie is one of those movies where it’s so good but to deep and heavy to watch again🥲

PastaDon

Real life superhero imo.. to go through what this poor guy went through for 12 yrs and make it back to his family and the people he cares about.. the amount of inner strength, resiliency and control on display is remarkable.. when we know ever fiber of his being probably wanted to lash out and fight.. Seen this in the cinema back when it was 1st released and I can't even begin to describe the atmosphere in theater after the film had and ended people started walking out.. thanks for the video Vince & Shoshana.. hard film to watch but a story that needs and should be told.. imo..

Simon

Will you be posting the boys this weekend ?

Mark

Great movie. Brad Pitt is a carpenter in real life and was one of the producers on this film

don't forget to watch the sequel to this movie "Django Unchained".."cough"..cough

Sorry not sorry

You say "they" when talking about white people back in those days, so don't say "we/us" when talking about black people from back in those days, it had nothing to do with you, you're in 2023, you're not a slave.

Guess what? He probably says “they” when speaking specifically about white people today and “we/us” when speaking specifically about black people today; as the majority of humans do when navigating discussions based on race. Billions of white people today can relate to things white people thought & experienced all throughout human history. Ask yourself why it’s such a problem for you if/when a black person sympathizes/empathizes on this level, buddy?😅
