Ouu nice surprise

Simon

You guys should post 2 episodes a day since they’re short

Simon

Some of these episodes are eh but the rest are really interesting

JESSEMLR1

I'm glad you guys are sticking to realese order. Can't wait to watch!

K3ndallJ

I’m so happy to see you guys dive deeper into the multiverse with this series!

Andres Avendaño

You need to watch all episodes, you will know why 🫣🫣🫣

Simon

No necessarily you don’t have to watch this to continue the movies

Getoff Mylawn

I was hoping youd get to this series. Your going to love it!

Cardboard

I honestly am not the biggest fan of this episode and think it's a rough start to the series as it doesn't change that much from the original movie. However, there are episodes in this show that I think are VERY good (including episode 2) :)

Lifehouse

Do you need to watch these? Nope.. But it might make some of the future developments easier to understand.

TC24

Don’t forget Vince, there are no “time keepers” anymore, he who remains died resulting in the multiverse, basically creating these universes we see in What If…

Bryan Kelly

Yes this series effects the mcu and movies.

imperial

We are in the multiverse saga now. There’s a good chance that some of these characters might appear in future movies one day. So it’s good that you are watching these. The stories and visuals in some of these episodes are incredible, better than most of the movies. It makes me want more animated MCU projects.

Jeremiah Simpkins

This is off topic but vince when are you gonna start watching The boys again

K3ndallJ

Also, Sylvie killing “He Who Remains” did not start the multiverse. I keep seeing people comment this. The multiverse already existed and was organized into the “Sacred Timeline”. All Sylvie killing him did was make it so branches in the timeline could form freely without being pruned.

Rigs216

After loki they freed the timeline by killing he who remains so these are the result of that choice. While there is a difference between timelines and multiverse -as time-lines are variations of a single universe- in marvel, they have taken to considering these different universes. With this being called the multiverse saga (Thanos was the infinity saga) its safe to assume what if will become a big thing for the future. And as Val said to walker, "things are gonna get wierd"

Joe Deluca

Everything Multiverse related is all possible thanks to Sylvie killing He who remains. No more sacred timeline, everybody has free choice now

Aldo Gonzales

What’s cool about this series is the concept of how certain things could’ve panned out if they happened in a different manner. The animation is pretty wild as well. Drawing up even one episode is a challenge, but the possibilities are near endless especially if we compare it to live-action. Sure it’s possible to do it that way as well, but it has its’ own challenges and expenses to cover. At least the art team can go nuts and the live-action team have more room and time to work on their own thing.

Mitchell Smilie

The first couple of episodes are lighthearted compared to some of the later episodes, which are much darker in tone much like the comics were. What If...? was one of my favorite titles when I collected comics as a kid. And some of the What If...? story ideas were later used in the main comic titles and the MCU (for example: What If the Hulk had the brain of Bruce Banner?) I really liked this series overall (the Dr. Strange episode in particular is fantastic).

I think they're just simplifying what happened into 'it started the multiverse'. As you said, prior to He Who Remains dying, the TVA was constantly pruning timelines, leaving only the 'Sacred Timeline'. Once the events of Loki happen, the alternate timelines are now free to exist, which is why "What If...." and other upcoming stories can happen. So, yeah, while the multiverse always existed (albeit, with only a single 'verse') and Sylvie didn't create it, what she did do was allow it to grow....

You guys Should check out the movie JoJo rabbit, Great film

Trey Mitchell

Honestly, I think "What If?" is a good way to introduce the concept of alternate realities and variants of heroes/villains. The concept does come into play eventually, so I think it's good that ya'll are watching it.

Fawks

Glad yall ended up enjoying it. There's a couple of GREAT episodes compared to this one and a couple of eh ones. But yeah you'll be rewarded later for having seen this.
