Enjoy that movie! ;)

Most of the clothes worn by The Dude are actually the clothes of the actor Jeff Bridges! This included his swim jelly sandals from the car scene 😂 Also, y’all have previously seen Jeff Bridges as Obadiah Stane, aka Iron Monger, in the first Ironman movie. He was the big, bald, evil business partner of Tony Stark who tried to kill Stark and take over the company.

Fun fact. Steve Buscemi (donny, con air) was a NYC firefighter for many years before he became an actor. He was already succesful when 911 happened. He grabbed his old gear and went down to the world trade center to volunteer for days. Love Big Lebowski one of my favorites. You know Philip Seymour Hoffman from Hunger games. Also Julianne Moore is also in hunger games (lebowski butler and daughter) Sam Elliott (cowboy, he was in we were soldier) Julianne Moores friend (David thewlis) was in Legend with Tom Hardy.

So glad you two got to enjoy this classic! Never get tired of watching it no matter how much time has passed in between viewings.

also, there's a great video you should watch on youtube from when John Goodman (Walter) got his Hollywood Star. Jeff Bridges shows up to give a speech as The Dude, and it's amazing and wholesome.

Mitchell Smilie

One of my personal favorite movies. It didn't do well during its initial theatrical run, but, like so many great films from the 80s and 90s, found an audience once it hit video. The Coen Brothers had a great run of films during this time period. I highly recommend you dive into more of their filmography.

There is a problem with the editing on this Movie Their reaction sometimes is before the action in the Video
