James Gunn did a great job with his take on the Suicide Squad.

TheLaugh477

The suicide sqaud 2021 is probably one of the only DCU movies that people actually like

Taylor Williams

what do people want you guys to watch Oppenheimer for? there’s literally nothing to react to

Hood44

Have they even watched the first suicide squad?

Hood44

How are you guys gonna have them watch the second suicide squad first😂😂😂😂

Qbeezy

Suicide squad 2 after the fisrt one bettttt

SavageDiplomat

The suicide squad 2021 is a sequel to Suicide Squad 2016

Morgo

Coco L 😔

Zac Cochrane

You two better react to Peacemaker after The Suicide Squad wins. The first suicide squad was garbage though. Hangover better sneak up and win

They’re not connected in anyway besides a few characters, Gunn said himself he wanted it to be a stand alone film

For now there’s only one season. I would like to think that they’ll consider reacting to it after catching up on Stranger Things if not sooner.

Tbh it's a soft reboot so you can go in with zero insight into the events of the "first" film. Suicide Squad (2016) is still canon to the events of The Suicide Squad (2021) but it's not really a direct sequel.

Maximiliano Vagnoni

what a pity about taken ,I hope you'll see that trilogy of films. I like very much the suicide squad :)

LittleGalaxyBoy

Little insight. Theres also Suicide Squad (2016) directed by David Ayer. The film was universally disliked thanks to alot of studio interference similar to what happened with Zack's Justice League. David has stated that his Ayer Cut is a much better film and would love to see it be released some day like the Snyder cut. Suicide Squad has good elements so it's still a good watch but I personally prefer the The Suicide Squad (2021) directed James Gunn. Do you need to watch David Ayer's Suicide Squad (2016) to understand James Gunn's Suicide Squad? Well when it came time for a new Suicide film. James Gunn stepped in as director. Knowing that alot of people didn't really vibe with the 2016 film the decision was made to make The Suicide Squad (2021) a soft reboot. This would allow the David Ayer's 2016 film to still remain canon to the DCEU but with the 2021 film being a soft reboot this would allow James Gunn to disconnect his film from David Ayer's movie by introducing a new narrative with a time jump, whole new cast of characters etc. They only aspect that connects both films together is returning characters from Suicide Squad (2016) who are played by the same actors in James Gunn's film, Bridging both films together by characters rather than narrative. So the answer is NO. You can go into The Suicide Squad (2021) with zero insight into any past DCEU projects including Suicide Squad (2016). It's by the far the most stand alone film in the DCEU post Man of Steel.

lol I can’t wait. I’m not excited about X3 but I am excited for First Class, Days of Future Past, and Logan. We have to remind them for DOFP to watch the Rogue Cut.

imperial
>>127037651

THIS exactly. Oppenheimer was one of my favorite movies this year. But I’m not sure if I would ever click on a reaction video to it.

Justin M Borowski
