Happy Birthday, Shoshana. I hope you have fun. Right off the bat, Walmart sells Scoops Ahoy Ice Cream and Surfer Boy Pizza. Out of all the ice cream flavors, chocolate pudding mix is the best one with The Void and Mint Flare at a close second and third.

They de-aged Millie at the beginning, that's why it looks like CGI Eleven. Obviously filming now she's older so they had to de-age her for that scene :)

Happy Birthday! The high school Elle goes to is the high school I went to. They just renamed it for the show. Many of the "Cali" scenes were filmed here in NM, not there.

happy birthday and btw they are freshmens in highschool so the kids like 15 and robin, jonathan and nancy are seniors and steve just graduate, and season 4 is like the best season in this show, cant wait to see more reactions

Eduardo Cifuentes

Happy belated bday!!! It’s been a lot of fun rewatching with you guys

Mia

The reason they look much older is because there's a huge gap between the filming of seasons. Covid happened right at the start of production and they had to hold off for quite a bit, and then it also required filming at 3 different locations. So season 1&2 had the shortest gap with only a year, whereas there was a whole 2 years between 2&3 and 3 years between 3&4 and will be 3 between 4&5.

Christopher Mcconnell

I just love this thing called diegetic audio in media. when the song is playing for us and then max takes her headphones off, and it sounds like the music is coming out of her headphones, I love that transition. Technically Diegetic sound originates only within the media, but that switch from sound track to in-world music just gets me.

Christopher Mcconnell

on the rude teacher. I had a teacher in middle school that would give us a test. then would have us grade ourselves. she would say each answer and we would mark it down, then she would make us go one by one and say what grade we got out loud to shame us. what an awful woman.

Cory
>>127753575

They didn’t de-age Millie. That’s another actor playing the role of El

Corey

Yes sorry I meant they deaged her face and imposed it on another actress

Madelene Sanchez

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!💜💜💜 I've 100% had teachers that lived to humiliate students. Especially if you had anxiety or something

Bamboozler09

I absolutely love this episode though I can't get over how they couldn't find actual teenagers for Eddie's friends and instead went with two 30 year old looking guys lol plus Angela's character and actresses performance is so cartoonish but other than them nitpicky things, amazing opening to an insane season

Carlos
>>128613228

I million %. Had teacher kick me out of class for assisting friends who were dyslexic and couldnt do research properly.

Joshua Coldwater

Happy Belated- Btw Mike’s actor is in his 20s, the only two that aren’t are Noah (will) and Millie (eleven)

Joshua Coldwater

Oh and Erica’s actress she is 17. Which is CRAZY having her play an eleven year old.

Cami O'Cain

the way y’all put it together so quickly is extremely satisfying. bc i didn’t when i first watched and now looking back, idk how i didn’t connect the dots

Logan Nelson
>>127753575

They cgi mapped millies face over the other actor... Who is actually a little boy...
