Asian live action movies often tend to draw out and exaggerate emotional scenes, so certainly agreeing about runtime. At the same time, it succeeded in creating an interesting reaction and aftermovie discussion. The shaman was wearing the same weird diaper thing when he was changing into his tracksuit, which should've been a clue, but it's easy to overlook it due to cultural differences. Like maybe that's normal over there.
