The person who is Finn's dad in the dream is the cop who told Tony that Pussy was snitching and then killed himself. Also, but not relevant to the show, his football coach is played by the same guy who plays Horseface in The Wire.

I nearly died the first time I watched this and saw that old western on the TV at Artie's place. I've never seen one western in my life but I knew that was Gary Cooper because nobody has more real estate in Tony Soprano's head than Gary f'n Cooper.
