Unless I missed/misunderstood something, since the material is technically plant (or specifically wood?) based, Kiymetl magics are able to manipulate it extremely easily. Given that, I don't think that it's too much of a handwave to assume she's able to wick away sweat through the material.

Wood - cellulose - celluloid - cellulose.... it might be? even so, she can still leave and create openings at will, possibly even change the texture/composition, so she could probably make it as breathable as Egyptian cotton or as airtight as a cellulose wrapper, depending on mood/environment/circumstance

It is lignin-based plastic, but she has enough control to add and remove perforations at magical will. the plastic part just means it will deform with her body once she lets go of her Flow.
