So there's been discussion amongst the team members that our tier system may not be the best, so I wanted to turn it all to you: free members and non. Would changing our supporter model be something that: a) you'd want, b) would incentivize your support?

The idea would be that the $1-3 tiers would get Discord access, $5+ would receive releases on the day. Everything higher would be to support the game and a show of your appreciation.

All the tiers would have their votes in polls weighted dependent on their tier (not sure how they figure the weighting, but it can be done!).

Thoughts?

I've ended my support purely because I've been out of work for a while and am conserving money where I can. In the past I usually support for a few months, then break support while I wait for some new big changes and that's usually how it goes for all patreon projects

Totally understand and hope you can find some footing soon -- we know things are tough!

Hey, as a former supporter, I stopped mostly because of the tiered releases. To be clear, I do not mind if higher tiers get access to beta tests or things like that, I have seen other creators do that, where they will release unfinished versions to high tiers so they can playtest and provide feedback. But once the full release is out, having to wait 2-3 weeks to get it felt really wrong. I usually could access the release earlier by going to certain well known pirate site.... so the whole 2being made to wait" felt wrong and soured my feeling for the support. I also rotate my support every now and then between different creators and usually only support 4-5 at a time for around 5 euros each, so it made my decision to stop supporting you guys easier. I will probably support again if the game is released at the same time to all tiers once it is ready.

Great feedback, I really appreciate it. It's kind of the thinking that's moving towards this change.

What offended me more was that, once, there was a hotfix one or two weeks after a version launch, which was distributed to the highest tier, and then, a week later, to the next tier, and so on. A HOTFIX (not a new version with new content), something never seen before, even by the thieves at EA or Bugisoft! 😱😵.

Thank you both for the feedback, it's very appreciated!

I do believe it had added content on it, (every release tends to) but if not, it wasn't intentional!
