Progress Report (Patreon)

This week has been a mostly admin-focused week:

It was time to go through the game code and find places that could use new passage art or illustrations by Noice.

(If anyone has a moment they feel could do with some passage art or illustration, let us know on the Discord -- what you all feel is probably more right than my thoughts!)

I batched the code pass-through to input callouts where the new askew underwear and pulled bras need to be added in once the art has been finished.

Thanks to a bug callout (thanks @Drinkingwolf!), I've also had to rebuild and restructure the Cheerleader arc in University. This should remove any and all errors, while also adding additional options and branches (a surprising bonus to breaking it all down and building it back up).

Once those tasks are complete, I'll be finishing off the new content as fast as possible. I wrote a version of each (Honeypot Datu, Spying on the Casimir Delivery, & First Escort Night) and found my usual issue cropping up: too many branches and options, meaning varied and new text.

So, I've 'scaled it back'. Meaning there will be either an early branch with two parallel arcs and results (with stat checks, per usual), or a single path late branch dependent on a final choice to give a resolution.

This will allow for less involved writing for me, more focus on where stats and choices matter (and vary text) without needing endlessly branching story webs for every new event.

I'll save the big branching for things like the Big Event and its ilk.

You also may have noticed the changes to the supporter tiers: all Dossier tiers and above will receive 0.10.4 and further releases as soon as it drops!

And as a final note, Noice has been working on new supporter art that better vibes with the game rather than the placeholders I created a couple years back when we were kicking off the game.
