Too Smart [too keep trying]

  • It's probably fine. Release it as a Patreon exclusive. Spend your time on something that doesn't make you want to shave your head and cry.💙 12
  • Keep working on it. I believe you can make it as good as we know you can because you're beautiful and amazing, Charli! 💜 9

Yeah...I can't make the whole song as good as the good part. And I have been working on it for weeks. I just can't anymore. What ya'll want.

Honestly, it's not bad, but I think it will take me another 1 or 2 weeks to get it right, if I can get it right. It's....I don't know. It's probably as good as Mercy, if I had to rank it. It's fine. Just okay.

Tell me what to do and I'll do it.

You think I'm about to tell you to back out lol Not happening, big belief from me always . But I will say if you need to step away go for it. The emotional burn is a thing to watch for. Anything can always be returned to. Could slap it as a patreon exclusive for now, play with it a bit when you feel like it and see where it leads down the line.

As I always say, you are your own worst critic, but that doesn't mean it's good to push yourself through something that burns you out. If taking a break and coming back to it is what helps you feel creative, no shame in that.

Creatively bashing your head against a wall never helped anyone, in my opinion. Do what makes you happy not what burns you out 💗

i voted for keep working on it but if its driving you nuts you could always put it to the side for a bit and go back to it later because forcing yourself to do somthing is the #1 cause for burnout

Alright, as much I'd love to hear it fully worked and where you're happy with it, I know that that is insanely difficult (if not impossible) to fully LIKE every single thing. As a creator, youre always going to find SOMETHING with your work, it's just the way it is. So, I say this, take your time. if it's burning you out. Forget it. If you want to go back in the future and work on it, cool. If not, that's cool too. You do you, and we're here for it!

I voted keep working on it, but I'd much rather say to just take a break from it for now, maybe inspiration will come later. If not, then you can release later. Or release it now and redo it later. Just don't stress over it too much.

Orrr put it on a shelf and come back to it when it makes you happy and the muses suck less. No sense in making yourself miserable.

Fucking real
