Damn that is tough! Edit here: Took me multiple listenings to hear the difference (I blame trying to listen to it at work, swapped to earbuds). The R version just stands out to me, not sure why it does, but I like it.

2R struck me as more vocal friendly, while 2MB seemed more instrument friendly, I chose off that distinction I was getting from them

Yeah, same. Took me swapping from speaker to ear buds to really hear the distinction, but once I did, woah. I love how the voice really shines though in the 2R where in the MB it's more subdued.

Lol valid. Sometimes I'm not in a position to do that at work, unfortunately 😅 but I try.

I feel like I'm so bad at mastering, even with Mixea. Most of my songs sound really empty when playing them on a phone, which isn't a feeling I get when listening to things mastered by people who actually know what they're doing.

Tough choice but I think I like 2R more since I think vocals should be front and center with instruments in behind and that's the vibe I'm getting from this one hope I made sense with my coffee lacking brain 😴

I disagree. I usually listen on my phone (volume knob in my jeep is broken), and I think they sound great! I mostly listen on phone speakers rather than earbuds, honestly (unless I'm working out). I think you do a great job!

Not all phone speakers are on equal footing. My current ones are great, run in separate directions for the true stereo sound too, and are miles above my last phone.

Agreed. I have the S24 Ultra and these speakers are way better than the Motorola I had before.
